Arriva dalla regione catalana questo originale quartetto che mette il jazz insieme ad influenze più leggere come il pop, il rock, il reggae. In modo sempre originale ed interessante, grazie anche ad un uso intenso del Fender Rodhes, e ad una bellissima interazione di questo con la chitarra (a tratti dalla timbrica friselliana) di Matas.

Le composizioni sono sempre piacevoli, morbidamente appoggiate su modelli consolidati quelle lente, più estroverse ed interessanti quelle sui tempi veloci. Peccato la caduta di stile nell'ultima traccia, nella quale troviamo Sirvent anche nelle vesti di cantante. Voce modesta, interpretazione lacunosa... Insomma, bocciato.

Ultimamente però (Aldo Romano, Seamus Blake o il nostro Stefano Bollani sono i casi più eclatanti) pare che molti jazzisti, sebbene poco dotati vocalmente, amino esibrsi in qualità di cantanti. Speriamo sia una moda passeggera, di breve durata.
