Arriva dalla regione catalana questo originale quartetto che mette il jazz insieme ad influenze più leggere come il pop, il rock, il reggae. In modo sempre originale ed interessante, grazie anche ad un uso intenso del Fender Rodhes, e ad una bellissima interazione di questo con la chitarra (a tratti dalla timbrica friselliana) di Matas. Sergi Sirvent: Free Quartet

Sergi Sirvent is an interesting young pianist whose style is hard to pigeonhole. To his credit, he is shaping a thoroughly original approach to jazz piano improvisation. On the other hand, his improvisations sound fragmented at times, almost as if they were a series of isolated phrases and ideas with insufficient connective tissue.
