Eric Bibb: Get Onboard
La produzione appare ben curata, da Glenn Scott, presente qua e là sui brani a fare da coro o suonare l'organo, le percussioni, il contrabbasso. Sull'esempio di altre cantanti contemporanee si è guardato con intelligenza alle musiche nere dell'America del Nord mettendo insieme un mix che accomuna insieme il lato artistico e quello più orientato al grosso pubblico senza risultare troppo grossolani.
Ci sono anche degli ospiti di riguardo: Bonnie Rait alla slide guitar su "If Your Hearts Ain't in It" e Ruthie Foster in "Conversation". Per il resto si è preferito cambiare sempre formazione, dando un senso minimalista o più pieno ai brani, a seconda del numero dei musicisti coinvolti, coristi compresi.
Per gli amici dell'alta fedeltà è da rimarcare l'alta qualità tecnica della registrazione.
