The mighty NEA Jazz Master Saxophonist Dave Liebman kicks off this week's episode of Neon Jazz, as we play tracks from legends he played with over the years, like Elvin Jones and the mighty Miles Davis. We also take a look at the new music from the great Jared Sims and hear words of wisdom from up and coming French-born, NYC-based saxophonist Stephane Spira.

We also profile Hannibal, Missouri-born, NYC-based jazz drummer Matt Kane and his newest solo project The Other Side of the Story. Neon Jazz pays deep respect to the latest jazz musician to leave us too soon, Roy Hargrove. We finish up the program with a new track from piano legend Harold Mabern and Miki, a young cat out of Serbia with an interesting mix of jazz sounds.
