Max De Aloe Quartet: Bradipo
Tra le molte cose buone va evidenziata l'idea di pescare nel repertorio pinkfloydiano per creare il cuore pulsante dell'intero concept: "Breast Milky," "Sheep" e "Shine on You Crazy Diamond part IX" legate tra di loro, come mai prima nessuno si era sognato di azzardare, restituiscono netta l'idea di movimento, di sfasamento temporale. Indovinata anche la mossa di aprire l'album con un tema dal carattere forte come "L'aria di mezzo," capace di sedurre l'ascoltatore e di incuriosirlo fino alle chiusura sulle note de "La Strada," lo splendido tema di Nino Rota.
In Bradipo è difficile trovare momenti dove non sia l'armonica del leader a rappresentare il filo conduttore del discorso, ma questo non impedisce al quartetto di produrre un lavoro coeso, senza evidenti punti di flessione, e dall'intensa coralità.
