• Albert King Windy City Blues (Stax / Fantasy). This is an exploration of King’s little known recordings from the 1970 sessions with Willie Dixon that never materialized into a full length record, two tunes from 1960 for Prestige, eight tunes with King as a sideman for Sunnyland Slim, The Muddy Waters Band and Billy Boy Arnold and rounding out this collection are three alternate takes with Homesick James.

The legacy of acclaimed bandleader and vibraphonist Cal Tjader lives on through this latest release, The Best of the Concord Years.  This two-CD collection celebrates the last four years of Tjader’s life (1979–82) and some of his most inspiring and renowned works as a legend in Latin jazz.

• Hot Lips Page 1950-53. Includes some of the last instrumental and vocal performances by this under appreciated artist.
• Valaida Snow 1940-53. A lot of these recordings happened under the noses of the Nazi’s, as Snow inhabited Europe during WWII.
• Billy Taylor 1951-52. Includes sessions recorded for Brunswick and Atlantic Records.
• Elmore James 1951-53
• Jo-Jo Adams 1946-53
• Ruth Brown 1951-53. Compiled from Brown’s chart dominating period and includes many of those successes.
• Jimmy Rushing 1946-53. Basie’s legendary front man performs his blend of Kansas City jazz and blues.

• Roosevelt Sykes Chicago Boogie. Recording released for the first time on CD (from his Regal recordings that appeared on 78s) from 1950 and 1951.
• Byther Smith Hold That Train. This is a reissue of the 1980 release that has been expanded with unissued material from this influential Chicago bluesman.

• Jack Teagarden Father of Jazz Trombone (AVID). This is a 3 disc boxset of Teagarden’s recorded legacy spanning from 1928 to 1947. The bos has 72 tracks and features Benny Goodman, Joe Venuti, Coleman Hawkins, and Eddie Condon.
  
  
• Django Reinhardt Django in Rome 1949-1950 (JSP). This is a four CD collection.
  
  
• Del McCoury High Lonesome and Blue (Rounder Heritage). This collection celebrates this bluegrass legends prolific output for Rounder. This promises to be pure bluegrass enjoyment.
  
  
• Ben Pollack Volume 6: The Whoopee Makers (Jazz Oracle). This collection is culminated from rare recordings from 1928 and 1929. This early big band features some of the earliest sides with Benny Goodman, Jack Teagarden and Jimmy McPartland.
  
  
• Anthony Braxton Ninetet (Yoshi’s) 1997, vol. 2 (Leo). This is a collection of two separate 72-minute recordings of Ghost Trance pieces.
