Come altre volte in passato, abbiamo colto l’occasione offerta dal Festival Jazz & Wine of Peace di Cormons, per parlare anche di alcuni CD recentemente usciti da quell’area, come il primo disco dell’organista Mauro Costantini, dell’ultima fatica di Massimo De Mattia, del lavoro dei Licaones, quartetto che include il sassofonista Francesco Bearzatti. Proprio di quest'ultimo abbiamo selezionato come CD della settimana il recente Stolen Days, per poi concludere l'esplorazione con l'album dello Smell Quintet, in realtà non composto da musicisti friulani, ma anch’esso proposto dalla locale etichetta Artesuono di Stefano Amerio.
A completamento della documentazione troverete una recensione di Tirait!, recente libro fotografico di Luca D’Agostino, che vive da molti anni in Friuli ed è oggi uno dei più apprezzati fotografi italiani di jazz.
