Soprattutto la parte live del progetto rivela un'intesa profonda con i compagni di viaggio per produrre policromi percorsi in trio e quartetto con fantasia esecutiva e cura del dettaglio. Diversi sono gli elementi chiave di questo accattivante mainstream rivissuto secondo una logica personale ed avanzata: esposizioni solistiche penetranti, sviluppi imprevedibili, evoluzioni ritmiche davvero ragguardevoli.
Nel complesso emerge il quadro di un eccellente quartetto ricco di comunicativa, animato da desiderio di ricerca e aggiornamento. Ed in più un tappeto sonoro estremamente mobile che si sviluppa magistralmente attraverso il suono ricco di sfumature timbriche sfoggiato dall'eccellente leader.
