Il chitarrista catanese Paolo Sorge, tra i fondatori di Improvvisatore Involontario, si unisce qui a un'altro membro storico dell'etichetta -Francesco Cusa e al contrabbassista Gabriele Evangelista per dar vita a un classico trio.

C'è una qualche varietà stilistica nelle sette tracce originali che coprono i tretatre minuti di musica dell'album: si inizia con un brano ritmico -"Divergenze" -piuttosto classico e con la chitarra protagonista, per proseguire con "Floating," nel quale protagonista è invece il contrabbasso, per giungere a "Cielosfera," dove su un tappeto ritmico basso-batteria la chitarra del leader produce divagazioni di suoni libere e improvvisate, reiterate e suggestive.

Estremamente vario "Slonimsky's Domino," che riassume un po' la poetica del lavoro, usandone gran parte degli stilemi pur facendo prevalere il semplice fraseggio della chitarra, il medesimo che -in stretto dialogo con entrambi gli altri strumenti -predomina sia nella title track, in forme più ritmiche e oblique, sia nella conclusiva "TreDueNove," invece in modo più disteso e intimistico.

Lavoro sottilmente sofisticato, apprezzabile nei momenti più rarefatti e meditativi, anche se privo di particolari picchi creativi o espressivi.
