1949: I was born;1964ish: Joined first band, Judy & the Folkmen. Didn't make record;
1968ish: Joined second band, Fairport Convention. Made record, Fairport Convention;
1969ish: Joined third band, Giles Giles &Fripp, McDonald & Dyble. Made record, The Brondesbury Tapes;
1970ish: Joined fourth band, Trader Horne. Made record Morning Way;
1972ish: Joined fifth band, Dyble,Coxhill & the Miller Brothers. Didn't make record;
1973ish: Stopped singing mostly;
2002ish: Started singing a bit. Started recording again;
2004: Released Enchanted Garden, with Marc Swordfish;
2006: Next two CDs released: Spindle and The Whorl, with Marc Swordfish;
2008: Released indie EP with the Conspirators;
2009: Released Talking With Strangers, with Tim Bowness and Alistair Murphy and old friends;
2013: Releasing Flow & Change, with Alistair Murphy and new friends.

Vocal, autoharp, piano, recorder.
Teachers and/or influences?
Piano tuition: Miss Faulkner to Grade 1 Step 1 (1956ish);
Mr Green taught me dance music (1963ish);
Recorder tuition from St Michael's Primary School Wood Green (1954ish);
Autoharp tuition, George Bishop, banjo player, taught me how to adapt and use clawhammer 1964ish).
Road story: Your best or worst experience:
With Fairport Convention leaving a plane at Geneva Airport in 1968, on the way to playing at the Golden Rose of Montreux awards. to come face-to-face with vast amounts of people in Victorian costume, who appeared to be the Sherlock Holmes Society celebrating and reenacting the Death of Moriarty at the Rohrbach Falls, or something like that, but it was nice to be greeted by a Brass Band as we landed...even if it was not for us.
Favorite venue:
Uncle Frank's Sunday Club in Kidderminster in 1967/68.

New album, Flow & Change, to be released in June 2013 by Gonzo Multimedia in collaboration with Alistair Murphy and with contributions by Matt Malley (ex-Counting Crows), Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Michael Mooney (Spiritualized), Steve Bingham (No-Man) and Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson). Also working on projects with Oliver Kersbergen (Sleepyard).
