Steve’s educational background includes a Masters in Bass Trombone Performance from the University of Denver (Denver, Colorado), Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver (Denver, Colorado), and a Bachelor of Music Education from Emporia State University (Emporia, Kansas). As a free-lance musician, he has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Ballet, Central City Opera, Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, and Denver Municipal Band in addition to the jazz groups Fat City Mardi Gras Band, Neophonic Jazz Orchestra, Queen City Jazz Band, and Dixieland Express

Jon Hatamiya

Trombonist, composer, and B.A.C. Endorsing Artist Jon Hatamiya is one of the most promising trombonists to come out of the Sacramento area and is rapidly making a name for himself on the New York Music scene. He was recognized in the August 1st, 2011 edition of Jet Magazine as the only trombonist on Wynton Marsalis’s list of “Who’s Got Next”, which highlighted the next generation of emerging jazz artists. Still early in his career, Jon has already performed with such artists as Dianne Reeves, James Moody, Seamus Blake, Dave Matthews Band, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, among others, and at venues such as Yoshi's SF and Oakland, the Jazz Standard in New York, the Monterey Jazz Festival, Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Staples Center. Jon currently leads the NY-based fusion septet XD 7, the CA-based quintet Nice Young Men, as well as other small ensembles under his own name.

The Swedish bass trombone player Sven Larsson has recorded with Rolf Ericson, George Russell, Thad Jones, Lars Gullin, Arne Domnerus, Lars Samuelson, Georg Riedel, Bernt Rosengren, Putte Wickman, Monica Zetterlund, Gugge Hedrenius and many others. He participated in about 100 projects with the Swedish Radio Jazz Group 1970-1990. For 8 years he played with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Among the artists with whom he has toured are Rolf Ericson Big Band, Sammy Davis Jr, Bette Midler, James Last, Lena Horne and (as a member in Sender Freies Berlin Big Band) Paul Kuhn.

Reut Regev

Born and raised in Israel, Trombonist, composer and bandleader Reut Regev started shaping her impressive reputation on the Jazz scene at a young age. At only five years old she was introduced to the piano, and then added the trombone to her repertoire at age thirteen. While in high school, she had the opportunity to play with some of Israel’s most creatively improvisational musicians, as well as perform at Israel’s top Jazz Festivals.
