New York Art Quartet
The New York Art Quartet was a pioneering free jazz ensemble that emerged in the early 1960s. The group was formed in 1964 by saxophonist John Tchicai and drummer Milford Graves, both of whom were associated with the avant-garde jazz movement in New York City.
