Jazz vocalist Jaana Narsipur has just released a new album, "Better Than Anything," which is a tribute to the bebop and hard bop masters Bob Dorough and Horace Silver. "Better Than Anything" features original arrangements (all by Jaana Narsipur) of Dorough and Silver’s classic swing and groove tunes, as well as beautiful lesser-known gems from these jazz masters. The album shines with a stellar cast of New York based musicians including drummer Joe Abba (John Scofield, Gene Pritzker), pianist Cary Brown (Sloan Wainwright, Levon Helm), and violinist Ludovica Burtone (Danilo Perez, Jon Batiste). Jaana has been performing and teaching in New York for the last 12 years

Vocalist Shiri Zorn began her collaboration with the ingenious guitarist and composer George Muscatello in 2013, shortly after she relocated to Upstate New York. Performing regularly throughout the region, she co-creates original songs and innovative renditions of existing jazz repertoire. In the last two years, Zorn has been working closely with the acclaimed jazz singer, Tierney Sutton, who is the vocal producer on Zorn and Muscatello’s newest album, Into Another Land. he winner of the 3rd edition of Brussels International Young Jazz Singers Competition 2007, Jihye Lee started to learn jazz at the Seoul Jazz Academy in South Korea where she also studied a basis in classical as well as traditional singing technique.
She obtained a bachelor degree in The Hague, where she studied mainstream jazz and bebop. She started to work on her own compositions influenced by traditional jazz, Korean traditional music, free improvising music and modern art.
During her study she took workshops of Michael Brecker, Barry Harris, Mark Turner, Billy Hart, Willie Jones III, John Ruocco en Deborah Brown, Korean traditional music workshops in The Hague (2002-2006)
