Shiri Zorn

Vocalist Shiri Zorn began her collaboration with the ingenious guitarist and composer George Muscatello in 2013, shortly after she relocated to Upstate New York. Performing regularly throughout the region, she co-creates original songs and innovative renditions of existing jazz repertoire. In the last two years, Zorn has been working closely with the acclaimed jazz singer, Tierney Sutton, who is the vocal producer on Zorn and Muscatello’s newest album, Into Another Land. From 2007–2011, Zorn lived and performed in Seattle, Washington, sharing the stage with some of the nation’s most renowned musicians, including Greta Matassa, Darin Clendenin, and Beth Winter

Jihye Lee Jazz

he winner of the 3rd edition of Brussels International Young Jazz Singers Competition 2007, Jihye Lee started to learn jazz at the Seoul Jazz Academy in South Korea where she also studied a basis in classical as well as traditional singing technique.

She obtained a bachelor degree in The Hague, where she studied mainstream jazz and bebop. She started to work on her own compositions influenced by traditional jazz, Korean traditional music, free improvising music and modern art. 

During her study she took workshops of Michael Brecker, Barry Harris, Mark Turner, Billy Hart, Willie Jones III, John Ruocco en Deborah Brown, Korean traditional music workshops in The Hague (2002-2006)

Sheila Soares

Jazz. Blues. Soul. Folk. Sheila Soares melds insightful lyrics, compelling melodies, and intriguing grooves into a sultry performance to connect with your heart. Sheila came to a solo music career during the experienced years of life, beginning at a Toronto vocal jazz jam then progressed to songwriting and performing in the Toronto area with some of Canada's best musicians. She has performed and recorded with Eric St-Laurent, Jordan O'Connor, Jeff McLeod, Chris Wallace, David Restivo, Peter Hill, Ron Johnston, and John Collin. Sheila also has a classical singing background. She studied voice with Carolynne Davy Godin of the Guelph Chamber Choir, and was a soprano and frequent soloist for half a decade with Vocal Horizons Chamber Choir under the direction of Vincent Cheng

Malcolm Earle Smith

Born: July 20, 1967

Trombonist and vocalist Malcolm Earle Smith is one of the most versatile jazz musicians in the UK. He has a love a deep understanding of many kinds of jazz from the 1920s to the present day and as an educator has a passionate to share the rich tradition of jazz with young musicians. As a trombonist he has played with NYJO, Kenny Baker, John Dankworth, Henry Lowther, Liam Noble and Bryan Ferry to name a few. He released his first acclaimed album, "Lyric Trombone" in 1996. He is a distinctive vocalist and one of the most exciting scat singers around. 'Vocal Intent', his first purely vocal album, is to be released in Spring 2022

Sarah L King

Sarah started singing in soul & gospel choirs before emerging as a solo artist. Having a musical heritage, her father a jazz trumpeter, her grandmother an orchestral conductor, Sarah has a fine ear for harmonies and improvisation. Citing Karen Carpenter and Roberta Flack as early influences, Sarah’s unique phrasing and her ability to imbue an emotional depth to her lyrics have brought her much recent acclaim.

In 2024 Sarah released her debut album, Fire Horse, produced by Claire Martin OBE, & featuring Jim Watson (p), Ian Thomas (d), Laurence Cottle (eb) & Jeremy Brown (b). Featuring mostly her own compositions, the album has been lauded by critics for Sarah's ‘vocal prowess and formidable songwriting and arranging ability’. Her vocal timbre and songwriting style have been compared to the likes of Rumer, and her music has featured on Jazz FM’s Single Of The Week, as well as BBC Radio 3 Jazz Requests, and Helen Mayhew’s True Brits.
