The Pete McGuinness Jazz Orchestra: Strength in Numbers

Il leader interviene anche stavolta sia al trombone (ottimi assoli in "Trixie's Little Girl" e "Bittersweet") che come cantante ("What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" e "You Don't Know What Love Is") con una voce ammaliante che ricorda un po' Chet Baker. Come arrangiatore (in tutti i brani) evidenzia eccellenti capacità di scrittura in un'ampia varietà di situazioni espressive, dai modelli Count Basie ("Nasty Blues") e Thad Jones ("The Swagger") ai temi giocati su preziosismi timbrici ("Spellbound," "You Don't Know What Love Is").
