Giuseppe Millaci: Songbook
By"Nostalgia Op.1" sets the course early with an intuitive, rolling ease that belies these young players years. "Imaging the Fourth Dimension" continues the flow as each player establishes his place in the mix while allowing the other members plenty of space and time. "Unknown Land" displays the trio's will for drive and turbulence. Really a great track to listen to. "Song For Clarice" is a romantic, subtle study and "Room 317" and "Lollipop" bound with youthful energy and braggadocio. A fairly standard take on "Skylark" closes this surprisingly resilient recording.
