La chitarra del leader si muove con passi felpati, quasi timorosa di disturbare, tra note lunghe che risuonano nell'aria, bolle sospese trasportate dal vento, e magici arpeggi. Ma è la voce del sassofonista islandese Oskar Gudjonsson che trasforma un'apprezzabile seduta d'incisione in un piccolo gioiello di gusto e di sensibilità collocando Red Sky in una dimensione senza tempo e senza spazio.
