Paolo Damiani: Pane e tempesta
Dieci è anche il numero dei musicisti alla corte del violoncellista. Si tratta di giovani promettenti e altri che hanno già compiuto qualche passo importante, tra i quali spicca la figura di Cristiano Arcelli, sassofonista umbro che firma la maggior parte degli arrangiamenti. Damiani si conferma, oltre che leader ispirato e di spessore, anche come grande figura didattica, in grado di costruire una filosofia musicale attorno all'aggregazione, al dialogo e al confronto tra personalità in maturazione.
La bellezza delle melodie ("Cose così"), i momenti di grande coralità ("In un tempo lontano"), ma anche di esile lucentezza ("Quello che non voglio") rendono quest'album godibile dalla prima all'ultima nota.
