Sacha Boutros is an acclaimed jazz singer,  producer and composer, celebrated for performing in 14 languages. As a global peace ambassador of goodwill, she uses music as a bridge to foster community and designs peace murals that unite bordering nations.

A former semi-professional soccer and tennis player, Sacha attended one of the top business schools in the U.S., graduating with honors in Marketing and International Business. She later founded a record label, production, and publishing company, establishing herself as one of the few female producers in jazz. Her production company Hear me Roar curates entertainment across all genres for Fortune 500 companies major festivals, and bespoke artistic programs championing women and minorities in the arts; her programs are diverse and inclusive and create a sense of belonging to artists and audiences alike.

Sacha has captivated audiences worldwide with an unparalleled voice, magnetic stage presence, electrifying humor and a career that has redefined the genre. With her formative training in Bel Canto Sacha’s voice, a Coloratura with a four and a half octave range, transcends time with an artistry that blends sophistication, passion, and storytelling. Sacha stands as a living testament to the power of music and faith from humble beginnings in the church on the border town of San Ysidro to sold-out performances at the world’s most prestigious venues. A career spanning decades, Sacha has collaborated with legendary musicians and been recognized with multiple awards and accolades, her recordings have topped the charts and been top 3 not only in the United States, Europe as well as Asia reaching #2 in Jazz in Japan and many other countries as well #1 on iTunes including #3 on the Francophile Charts.  Her ability to cross musical boundaries singing in 14 languages and speaking 7, has made jazz more accessible to global audiences.

Whether interpreting timeless standards or reinventing contemporary songs with jazz sensibility she mesmerizing crowds with her original compositions, every performance is an experience in vocal elegance, improvisation, borderless music and deep emotional connection.

In her spare time Sacha loves working with the community donating her time since the age of 14 years old to Father Joe Caroll at St. Vincent de Paul Village and various orphanages in Baja California. Following in the footsteps of her Grandmother, Lupe Cazares who founded the San Ysidro Health Centers. “Giving back is second nature to me, like the air that I breath. I grew up rich in love, laughter and joy, my grandparents taught us to share and help the community everyday. Everyone was a friend, a compadre or a compadre and we always lent a hand to everyone in need. Kindness is free, pass it on.”

In 2017 Sacha joined the Border Public Art Committee to lead a project with a team of local artists and architects as well as The consulate of Mexico and the San Ysidro Chamber of Commerce. She designed a mural at the border of San Ysidro and Tijuana at the main pick up and drop off point where 26,000 people cross each day. It was an homage to her family and the work they did to build up the border town and her grandmother who founded the legacy of one of the largest free healthcare clinics in California. The mural was entitled “ The place where Soles Meet,” and the footprints of people that had crossed the border were traced and painted on the peace mural as a bridge to bring together both sides of the border. “Definitely the place where soles cross and soles meet,” said Boutros, “all twenty-six-thousand, each day.”

Beyond the stage Sacha is an ambassador for jazz and womens rights, an advocate for women and music education a philanthropist dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians her work extends beyond music, using her platform to promote peace, unity, and cultural exchange through the universal language of music. Recognizing her mentors Red Holloway, Nancy Wilson, Frankie Laine & James Moody Sacha strives to give back and in her promise to James Moody and Red Holloway, “Pass it on.”

In 2014, Sacha founded Sacha’s Supper Club 501c3, the first vintage pop-up experience blending fine dining, american big band, and dancing, reminiscent of the elegant New York café societies of the 1940s. Partnering with five-star hotels and historic venues, the club became a celebrated success in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest winning awards for its originality and revival of classic american nightlife. Sacha’s Supper Club recently launched the Music Without Borders Series in La Jolla, Ca which promotes cultural and historic music across all genres, blending audiences. 

Of Mexican and French Lebanese heritage, Sacha was raised in a European home in San Diego. Her Belgian stepfather, Michel Stroot, a renowned chef and pioneer of modern spa cuisine, introduced her to the art of gastronomy. Growing up in a family passionate about food, she developed a deep appreciation for gastronomy and enjoys cooking for those who love to eat well and is a member of of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in Paris as Officier de la Chaîne.

Splitting her time between San Diego and Paris, Sacha serves on multiple education, arts, and cultural boards. She is actively involved in nonprofit fundraising, mentoring young jazz artists, volunteering at the American Cathedral in Paris, and supporting orphanages in Baja California.

• In 2016, she was named Jazz Musician of the Year by the SoCal Jazz Society

• Sacha received Grammy nods for her work in Best Jazz and Latin Jazz albums in both 2008 and 2013 and 2024 recognizing her excellence in those genres

• Her album Simply Sacha earned two nominations at the LA Music Awards:

  • Best Latin Vocal for her original song "Amor Imposible"

  • Best Vocal, presumably for her rendition of "I Can’t Give You Anything But Love"
