Album Description
MULTI-LINGUAL JAZZ VOCALIST AND GLOBAL CULTURAL AMBASSADOR SACHA BOUTROS REIMAGINES 100 YEARS OF POPULAR MUSIC BY FRENCH AND AMERICAN COMPOSERS SACHA: PARIS AFTER DARK: Releasing October 17, 2025 on Hear Me Roar Records Internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, composer, producer, and global peace ambassador Sacha Boutros continues her musical journey as a bridge between cultures with her new album, SACHA: PARIS AFTER DARK. A multilingual artist who speaks seven languages and sings in fourteen, Boutros uses her voice to unite people across borders through the universal language of music. On SACHA: PARIS AFTER DARK, Boutros celebrates a century of French and American composers who shaped the soundtrack of the City of Light and Love. Drawing from her deep stylistic well of jazz, blues, pop, and swing, she reimagines timeless standards originally written or popularized by Gilbert Bécaud, Jacques Brel, Sidney Bechet, Sacha Distel, Joe Dassin, Cole Porter, Dalida, and Serge Gainsbourg, among others. Singing in French and English (with a touch of Italian), her interpretations blend elegance, passion, and soul—infused with her signature sophistication and warmth. This ten-track collection marks Boutros’ fifth full-length album and the second in her “After Dark” series, following Sacha: NY After Dark (2013). The series will continue with Sacha: Las Vegas After Dark introducing pianist Patrick Hogan and Sacha: Mexico After Dark, a heartfelt homage to her Mexican heritage. Through SACHA: PARIS AFTER DARK, Boutros invites listeners into an intimate world of romance, nostalgia, and cross-cultural harmony a love letter to Paris and to the timeless dialogue between French chanson and the Great American Songbook.
