Sacha Boutros is an internationally acclaimed jazz composer, producer and vocalist known for her versatility and emotional depth. Her latest single, “La Espera,” released on May 23, 2025, is a poignant danzon that showcases her expressive voice and storytelling prowess. The song, which translates to “The Wait,” delves into themes of longing and heartbreak, portraying a woman waiting for a lover who never arrives. The lyrics were penned by Italo/Argentinean Franco Barone, with Boutros composing the music. The track features the renowned French flugelhorn player Stéphane Belmondo, adding a rich, melodic layer to the performance. The arrangement also includes Franck Amsallem on piano, Thomas Bramerie on bass, and Tony Rabeson on drums . Boutros, a Franco- Mexican -American artist, is celebrated for her ability to sing in multiple languages and her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the arts.
