Jazz Gitan is an acoustic jazz ensemble that carries on the tradition of gypsy swing created by Django Reinhardt together with Stephane Grappelli during their domination of the Paris jazz scene in the 1930s. The music of Jazz Gitan [pronounced j'tawn] is the swinging jazz of the 30s and 40s, plus a cross-section of songs from the modern Gypsy Jazz repertoire and Original compositions by lead guitarist/band leader, Don Price. It includes Latin, blues, swing, and original styles combined to create a unique foot tapping and high energy Parisian influenced experience.

Gypsy Vendetta

Copenhagen-based Gypsy Vendetta is an experience of extraordinary energy and creativity. Having existed for almost a decade, the band has established itself as a leading ensemble in the Gypsy- jazz style on the Danish music scene. After hundreds of concerts and a well-received debut album, Gypsy Vendetta has developed their own very personal sound, while preserving the essence of the Jazz Manouche tradition.
