My Jazz Story
I was first introduced to jazz music through my
father (the singer/songwriter Tim Bowness)
when I was less than two years old. He played
me the Benny Goodman songs
"Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Why Don't You Do
Right?" on repeat. Since then I have become a
fanatic on most types of jazz and popular dance
music from the 1910s to the
1950s.
