Francesco Bertolini: Los dias del viaje
A parte la traccia bachiana e un omaggio a Stevie Wonder, i brani sono tutti della penna di Bertolini, che vi figura in gran spolvero anche come solista, ora impegnato alla chitarra elettrica (come in "Blues for John," di ispirazione fusion), ora all'acustica (come in "Un Pes es un Pes," con momenti spagnoleggianti). Ma anche la voce del sax tenore di Cristiano Giardini ha grande rilievo nelle numerose tracce in cui è presente, conferendo alle atmosfere un ulteriore spessore narrativo.
Menzione speciale per l'ottimo David Boato, alla tromba e al flicorno in sole due tracce e tuttavia capace di virare la cifra del gruppo su scenari più drammatici e meditativi. Essenziale l'apporto ritmico di Bandini e Maier, sostituito in due tracce dal basso elettrico di Raffaello Gnesutta.
Disco di ascolto immediato, godibile e ben suonato.
