We kick off the 841st Episode of Neon Jazz with Israeli-born guitarist Rotem Sivan with his cover of "Mack the Knife." From there, we keep the jazz guitar theme going with the legendary Kenny Burrell then we get into a host of veterans releasing new material including Bill Anschell, Giorgi Mikadze and Joseph Daley. A superstar group of KC musicians gives us a new album called Wire Town done live at the Green Lady Lounge. In between tracks, we hear from Bobby Hutcherson, Art Farmer and Sam Rivers. Finally, we bring it all to a close with the Mercer Hassy Orchestra. Dig the jazz, my friends.
