E' una delle mie band preferite e con questo album confermano di essere tra le migliori "teste pensanti" nella musica di oggi. L'ennesimo disco di grandi canzoni.
02. Clã - Lustro (EMI - 2003).
Rock band portoghese che presenta grandi canzoni, grandi arrangiamenti e una grande cantante.
03. Joao Gilberto - Voz e Violão (Verve - 2000).
Semplicità, tranquillità, groove, trasversalità. La bellezza abita qui!
04. Keith Jarrett - Bye Bye blackbird (ECM - 2000).
Il Trio nella storia del jazz. E' l'esempio del "non pensare," semplicemente lasciati trasportare dalla musica, vai, vai, vai...
05. OAM Trio - Flow (FSNT - 2002).
I miei amici Aaron Golberg, Omer Avital e Marc Miralta in un grande disco. Un sacco di swing e di grandi performances!
06. Matt Penman - Unquiet (FSNT - 2004).
Un altro amico e membro del mio Trio, Matt Penman, presenta questo bellissimo disco con grandi brani, gran gusto e il suo groove inconfondibile.
07. Jason Moran Trio - Ten (Blue Note - 2010).
Sto scoprendo solo adesso il trio di Jason Moran, e questo è un disco che dovreste ascoltare. La band è straordinaria. Quando suoni con Nasheet Waits e Tarus Mateen tutto è intenso e ricco di sentimento.
08. Jeff Buckley - Live at Siné (Sony - 2003).
E' un disco con solo un personaggio e la sua chitarra, ma non c'è bisogno di altro. Il miglior esempio di "one guy jam-session". Un must !:-)
09. Carlos Barretto - Impressões (Groove Jazz - 2000).
Un grande e vecchio disco del contrabbassista portoghese. Mi auguro che lo troviate!
10. Glenn Gould - Beethoven piano sonatas no 30 and 31 (Naxos - 2008).
Il genio! Due geni "insieme," pianista e compositore. Potete solo sedervi, ascoltare, riascoltare, riascoltare...
