06. Jason Moran - Artist In Residence (Blue Note - 2006).
Ho sentito per la prima volta Jason dal vivo al Blue Note Festival di Ghent in Belgio l’estate scorsa. Mi è piaciuto immediatamente il suono del gruppo e amo quello che sta facendo sul fraseggio e la melodia.

Se non lo conoscete, dovete assolutamente cercarlo !
08. Markus Hinterhauser - Morton Feldman: For Bunita Marcus (Digital Pressure - 1995).
Questo brano dura più di un’ora... pura meditazione musicale...
09. Ornette Coleman - Virgin Beauty (Epic - 1988).
Ho visto Ornette poco tempo fa al Padova Porsche Jazz Festival: Virgin Beauty... Ornette mi colpisce sempre profondamente. Una vera leggenda vivente.
10. Erwin Vann - Let’s Call Ed (HornPlayer - 2005).
Non ascolto mai i miei dischi, ma questo fa eccezione. E’ musica completamente improvvisata, senza forme, temi o direzioni predefinite, è composizione istantanea. Ascoltarlo continuamente mi aiuta a conoscere ulteriormente me stesso, la mia espressività, e come poter procedere da qui in avanti...
