The eye-catcher of the foursome is rising star alto saxophonist Maarten Hogenhuis, who has performed at the BIMHUIS in bands such as KRUPA andThe Genes and The More Socially Relevant Jazz Music Ensemble.Following the BRUUT! (2012), Fire (2013), Mad Pack (2015) and Superjazz (2017), as well as two Edison nominations, the band recently released V, which was recorded with Paul Willemsen, renowned producer of Caro Emerald, Michelle Williams and many others. According to the band members themselves this new record is the most danceable BRUUT!-album ever!
