Eran Har Even

Born:

Eran Har Even (born on April 22, 1983) is an Edison nominated Israeli guitarist, composer and music educator residing in Amsterdam. He is one of the most active figures of the Dutch jazz scene, recording and performing with some of the finest jazz musicians on the local and international circuits. These include prominent musicians such as Benny Golson, Terell Staford, David Friedman, Jamal Thomas, Joris Roelofs and Gilad Hekselman, to name a few. 

For a decade Eran has been a faculty member of the Conservatory of Amsterdam - teaching ear training, theory, guitar and coaching ensembles - training the next generation of aspiring Jazz and Pop musicians. Besides, Eran is a guest teacher in music schools and jazz-seminars around the world, while performing regularly in the most renowned venues and festivals.

Hristo Goleminov

Hristo Goleminov (1997) is a saxophonist, composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Amsterdam (NL). His interests include free improvisation, researching composition in the 17th/18th centuries, dense contrapuntal writing, improvising/composing over poetry, and more.

He’s currently working together with BIMHUIS Productions (Amsterdam) as a Nieuwe-Maker, researching baroque music, improvisation and composition. His new octet debuted in June 2022 at the BIMHUIS, and an album is in the works.

He also shares a duo with Vera Morais (voice) focused on exploring the lines between poetry and improvisation. Their album 'Consider the Plums' was released in September 2022 under the Portuguese label Carimbo Porta-Jazz.

Jazz trumpet player Suzan Veneman is quickly established her place on the scene, capturing audiences with her adventurous and soulful sound. After finishing her studies in the USA she has been fulfilling her role as successful musician and promising composer and arranger. Comfortable with many genres in of modern music, she can be seen playing with a wide variety of bands, including the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Beets New Jazz Orchestra, the Millennium Jazz Orchestra, Zack Lober’s NO FILL3R and her own ambitious projects ‘Zinder’ and the Suzan Veneman Sextet.

Teemu Kekkonen

Finnish jazz pianist & composer Teemu Kekkonen is a rising star in the European scene. 

Thoughtfully crafted compositions, cinematic harmonies, captivating grooves and familiar melodies are the cornerstones of his music. As a musician Teemu is oriented towards a narrative style and strives to create musical adventures which evoke emotions and diverse moods. As the basis for his improvisations Teemu uses the thematic material of the piece at hand, sometimes transforming it to raw and rugged cacophony, at times to a calm and collected contemplation.

Following the release of his 2021 four-track EP “Trio Live at Bimhuis”, Teemu self-releases his debut album Here/There on September 16th 2022 with compatriots Mikael Saastamoinen (bass) and Roope Kantonen (drums). Behind the seven original pieces and the one cover tune are real-life stories from the past ten years.

Viktor Haraszti

Born:

Saxophonist and composer Viktor Haraszti (1972) was born in Hungary and lives in the Netherlands. He is also a multi- instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer. At the age of seven Viktor started playing the piano and at the age of eleven he chose the clarinet. In 1990 he obtained his diploma for clarinet at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest. Jazz influenced his musical life in the late 1980s, after he attended a Fats Domino concert in Budapest. In these turbulent 80s of the last century, Viktor also became passionate about Rock & Roll. Nick Adema

Nick Adema is a Canadian trombonist/composer currently based in Amsterdam. Nick obtained his undergraduate degree in jazz performance at the University of Toronto. While attending this school, Nick had the honors of receiving the Albert & Wilhelmine Francis Renewable Scholarship (UofT Faculty full scholarship). While at the Toronto school, he filled the lead trombone chair in the University of Toronto Jazz Orchestra, and the Bass trombone chair in the University of Toronto 12tet. While at the school, they recorded a full length album with the UTJO entitled Embargo. Nick is currently completing his masters degree in Jazz Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA). Growing up in Ottawa, Nick started to find his musical voice by playing with youth groups such as the Nepean All-City Jazz Band, the Ottawa Youth Orchestra, the Conn Selmer Big Band, and the Capital Youth Jazz Orchestra
