Come potremmo parlare della tromba di Peter Evans che si espande oltre i limiti, si trasforma, si moltiplica; o del sax di Mats Gustafsson, vero e proprio alter ego della voce umana e degli umori che rappresenta; per finire con il pianoforte di Agusti Fernandez, organismo proteiforme che rigurgita ogni sorta di sonorità.
Ma sarebbero dettagli perché A Quietness of Water va ascoltato con menta libera nella sua dimensione unitaria, tra sussurri e grida, silenzi e fragori, momenti di quiete e improvvise impennate. Disco ostico, insomma, che l'assenza della dimensione visiva, della possibilità di seguire i gesti, gli sguardi, il linguaggio del corpo dei musicisti rende ancora più ostico e impenetrabile.
