The Top 5 Workout Tracks For November
For the coming month, I've tried to find the best, up-tempo songs on a handful of recent releasesto keep you on track in your workouts.
To that end, the Clayton Brothers have a new dance-inspired disc en route, but it's not yet turned up on iTunes. So, I'm going back to one of John and Jeff's earlier cuts in the meantime.
The opening cut on Houston Person's new album shows off the subtle, but propulsive drumming of Willie Jones III.
And Lizz Wright adds some vocals into the mix with a driving lament, from an album that rounds out her jazz background with a foray into gospel.
The Clayton Brothers"Gina's Groove "167 BPM
Avishai Cohen"Ezion Gever"130 BPM
Houston Person"Bleeker Street"172 BPM
Bobby Watson and the UMKC Concert Jazz Orchestra"The President's Tray (For Obama)"114 BPM
