2009 has been an active year for All About Jazz as we continue to roll out new features and services for musicians. We topped 80,000 readers last Monday which set a new single day high for traffic. Take the AAJ Q&A

Take Five and In Ten are two free ways for you to further raise the awareness of your music and yourself at All About Jazz. They also allow you the flexibility to select and answer questions and give readers an opportunity to learn more about you.

Enter your Calendar Dates at ArtistData and sync them up with All About Jazz, JamBase, Last.FM and more!

All About Jazz has joined the ArtistData network which allows musicians to submit calendar dates one time and distribute them over more than ten music websites.



ArtistData is a free syndication service that allows musicians to save a tremendous amount of time entering calendar dates. Enter your shows at ArtistData.com and you'll see them auto-posted to AAJ and other sites like MySpace, Twitter, PureVolume and Jambase. It's essential for jazz musicians to have their calendar dates listed at All About Jazz. In addition to the website, dates will be accessible through AllAboutJazz: Mobile and will appear in our monthly AllAboutJazz: New York print edition.

Jazz Musician of the Day

AAJ now features one jazz musician profile each day and syndicates the profile information around the web. You can find the featured musician at the News Center and on other pages at the site like the Musician Center.

We select musicians based on their birth date and their profile popularity. You can increase your chances of being featured by entering your birth month and day, and regularly updating your profile, as regularly updated profiles generate more page views (and drive more traffic).



Promote your new CD with Showcase!

AAJ Showcase is designed to help you promote your music, your website, and yourself by helping you reach the largest jazz audience on the internet. At $300 per month, it's also a tremendous bargain.
