Luca Bonvini

After twenty years of succesful career as a trombone player on the Jazz scene and other genres Luca Bonvini picked up the Soprano of the trombone family, the Slide Trumpet, and performed in his first CD on his name, ATEMPORE, with Ares Tavolazzi and Steve Arguelles. His second CD, THE MYSTIC TRUMPETER, has been the disc of the month in jazz magazines in Italy. Hackdaddy

Born: September 22, 1958

Mike Hackbert is the creative force behind Hackdaddy. Mike has been an active musician since the early 70's, when he began playing brass instruments and settled on the trumpet as a primary instrument. Mike was involved with a number of bands and ensembles in high school and college; his composing and arranging skills were honed in college and are still in use today. In the 80's and 90's Mike was based in Champaign-Urbana Illinois and could be seen in a number of groups around the area in addition to work as a soloist, in the theatre pits and in local recording studios. The main focus at that time was the group Champaign Brass, a brass quintet founded by Mike in 1986 that is still active today

Troy Anderson

Troy Anderson, Trumpet player Extrodinaire started out playing the Trumpet at early age of 10, growing up in a Bahamian family filled with musicians is where Mr Anderson got his taste for music, starting with his church Brass Bands,The Florida Sunshine Band, and the Gospel Sounds. He went on to proceed with the teachings in middle school and high school and thats where he was introduced to the world of Drum and Bugle corps. Mr.Anderson performed with the Florida Vanguards where he learned how to be a team player as a lead soprano player/soloist, and was exposed to performing in front of thousands of screaming fans,thats when he was introduced to the Bayonne Bridgemen Drum &Bugle corps, the Greatest Drum Corp to ever perform on the field,thats where he was taught showmanship as a lead soprano player by some of the greatest instructors in Drum Corps history

Band name: ORQUESTA *ORO* NEGRO ð Bandleader and founder: OSLEN CEBALLO BRIAN aged 32 and from Havana, Cuba professional musician for approximately 16 years. His principal instrument is the trumpet but he also plays: ð trombone ð flugelhorn ð piano/keyboard ð guitar and tres ð congas/timbales/bongos ð He is composer, songwriter and also arranges and produces his own music. ð His international career started with SIERRA MAESTRA (1999-2004), a band with which he performed during the prime time of the ‘Buena vista social club’ in several hundred concerts worldwide

Jazz trumpeter Josh McDonald is the Coordinator of the Jazz Ensembles at Boston University, where he directs the Wednesday Jazz Combo and the Jazz Chamber Lab, and teaches a Jazz History course entitled Jazz Now: a look at the #BAM movement. He is a member of Music Performance and Education, Inc (MP&E). Josh has performed all over the country, including at Somethin’ (NYC), Fenway Park (Boston), Bank of American Pavilion (Boston), House of Blues (Boston), the Jazz Station (Eugene, OR), and the Institute of Contemporary Art. His big band compositions have been performed by Boston University Big Band, Fresno City College Big Band, and the Nipomo High School Big Band
