Noah Hocker

Noah Hocker was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attributes his early interest in music to his Mom, who is a singer and flutist. Noah has always been a lover of various kinds of music but became enthralled with jazz because of its freedom and range of expression. He couldn't get enough of jazz and improvisation so he joined several of the reputable youth programs in Portland such as: the American Music Program, The Alan Jones Academy of Music, and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony. Noah went on to study music at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he received a Masters degree in Jazz Performance, and studied privately with acclaimed performer and teacher Terell Stafford. Since graduating, Noah has developed his career both as a leader and a sideman

Benje Daneman

Born: August 28, 1984

New York City based trumpeter, Benje Daneman, was inspired at a young age by the stories of songwriters of all genres from folk to rock to pop. After falling in love with the world of jazz as a teen, it began to become very clear that his initial musical upbringing had merged with his newfound passion – setting the stage for a deep desire and pursuit to create clear stories and emotions through his music as a performer and composer. Norwegian—born musician and composer Yngvil is a spirited, multi-talented stage performer and band leader. Yngvil plays the trumpet, acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards and willow flute—a Norwegian overtone instrument - and occasionally breaks into song... Corey Swinderman Bio Born Sept. 26, 1956. Dover High School. Diploma; 1975. U.S. Navy-1975-1987 Attended U.S. Navy School of Music Completing and graduating from the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Courses. Official U.S. Navy Show Band 26 piece show group. Lead trumpet, musical arranger /composer and assistant show director. Toured in more than 30 countries throughout South America and Europe performing public shows as well as honors and dinner dance music for Presidents, mayors and various local dignitaries. Veteran trumpet player and composer Marcus Hampton, who is a nephew of Slide Hampton and a cousin of Lionel Hampton, recently released his debut recording that features 12 of his jazz originals. The title of his release is Hampton House of Jazz (ARC-2543). The title comes from the jazz club that Hampton and his family had opened and operated for a time in Florida before relocating to the Denver area. Thomas Johansson

Born: March 24, 1983

Thomas was born and raised in Skien, Telemark. With a bachelor degree from the University of Stavanger, and Masters from The Norwegian Academy of Music, he is a part of the strong young Norweigan jazz elite. He has done extensive touring in Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and USA, with both his own projects and as a sideman in several other bands. His main project is Cortex, which is a quartet consisting of Thomas, Kristoffer Alberts, Ola Høyer and Gard Nilssen. Cortex is a Norwegian band which plays enerergetic jazz of the finest brand. With over one hundred live perfomances and four highly acclaimed albums, they position themselves as one of the strongest additions to the Norwegian jazz scene.
