Jamie Brownfield

Born: February 26, 1992

Jamie Brownfield, 23, hails from the village of Llanrhaeadr Y.M. in Mid Wales. He started on the cornet aged 9 playing in the local brass band and by the time he was 12 was performing jazz in public, guesting wherever he could at local jazz clubs. In 2005, when Jamie was 13, he formed his first band 'The JB Quintet' and the following year recorded his first CD 'No Animals Were Harmed......' Jamie has been playing professionally now for many years and is available for any event or session work, playing all styles of jazz from New Orleans to Bebop! Jamie was awarded 1st place in the 'Rising Star' category of the 2012 British Jazz Awards Recordings No Animals Were Harmed.....

The oldest of five kids, Grayson Hackelman was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He first studied piano but then switched to the double bass in his middle school orchestra. Grayson attended North Carolina School of the Arts throughout high-school where he developed a strong foundation in classical and jazz music. ​ After obtaining his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, he relocated to New York City in 2010 where he completed his Master's Degree in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. Born in 1985, in New Orleans, Catherine Poree' aka IRIS P, discovered her talent when she received her very first instrument, a violin, at the age of 6. From there she went on to perform in orchestra concerts and a host of plays, but most of all enjoyed singing with her mother, the late Marilyn J. Etienne, also known as LADY GOSPEL. In 2010 IRIS P started her mission to "save the world" by performing her original songs written from her extravagant poetry debuting a plethora of songs from her Underground EP "I Got Issues". Oliver Watkinson

Oliver Watkinson - Electric & Upright Bass.  Born in Brunswick Maine, Oliver began studying music at the age of five. He attended college in Boston at the New England Conservatory, where he had the opportunity to study upright jazz bass and perform with greats such as Lee Konitz, Dave Holland, Jason Moran, Cecil McBee, and many more. In 2014, Oliver moved to New Orleans and began performing with BILLIE DAVIES in 2015, Gandhi Castle, Laelume, and various street bands. He has taught and performed all over the United States, as well as Central America and Canada.

Evan Oberla is an artist, musician & composer based in New Orleans with a naturally dynamic sound arriving at an intersection between catchy melodious themes and instantaneous adventurous improvisation, all the while maintaining a fresh soulful groove. Finding expansion in the slightest of movements, Evan thrives in inviting the listener along a journey of rhythmic and harmonic expression. This trombonist, multi-instrumentalist, & singer/songwriter is a naturally gifted performer who has delved into many varied genres in his career, honing a musical soup of influences into a style at once familiar to the ear yet uniquely his own.
