Vincent Duhaime Perreault

Born: September 27, 1980

Created on the initiative of its leader, composer and guitarist Vincent D. Perreault, TERTIO is a Jazz- Rock band from Montréal which has recently taken the jazz scene by storm. The members of the band are all active on the local, national and international jazz scene, playing as sidemen with such renowned artists as Susie Arioli, Sophie Milman, Parc-X trio, Cecile Doo-Kingué and Elage Diouf. Tertio's eponymous debut EP was released in June, 2015 on Montreal label Multiple Chords Music (MCM). Since then the band has played a wide variety of venues in both Quebec and Ontario, presenting their adventurous material to enthusiastic and rapt audiences

Raymond Charles Doré

Born: August 19, 1955

Raymond Charles Doré Contrebassiste / Basse Électrique A étudié la basse électrique à l'école de musique Adagio pendant cinq ans. Par la suite a étudié la basse électrique, acoustique, et la contrebasse avec John Geggie pendant huit ans (Jazz, Latino, Classique, etc.). A participé à deux camps de Jazz livré par Jazzworks, un à l'Université Carleton et un cours intensif classique en Colombie Britannique avec Gary Karr. Cours de solfège, dictée et écriture (niveaux 1 à 8) à l'École de Musique de L'Outaouais Inc. Leçons privées avec Ron Carter en 2015,2017, 2018. Fût un membre du Big Band Ottawa comme contrebassiste. Marshal Herridge

Born: October 23, 1994

Marshal Herridge is a Vancouver-born jazz bassist currently residing in New York, New York. He has shared the stage with some of North America's preeminent jazz musicians including Anthony Wonsey, Andre White, Kirk MacDonald, Joe Sullivan, Kevin Dean, Al McClean, Remi Bolduc, Dave Laing, Lorne Lofsky, Peter Bernstein, John Scofield, Donny McCaslin, Dick Oatts, Ari Hoenig, Sam Kirmayer, Caity Gyorgy, Tony Moreno, Pat Labarbera, Larry Goldings, Brian Dickinson amongst others. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Humber College, a Master of Music Degree from McGill University in Jazz Performance and an Artist Diploma in Jazz Instrumental Performance from New York University. During his time in these institutions, he was fortunate enough to study with such world renowned performer/composer/educators as Dezron Douglas, Ari Hoenig, Mike Downes and Neil Swainson, where he learned to hone his craft and develop his own musical conception on the instrument. He was awarded the Oscar Peterson Prize from Humber College (the highest award offered in the program) and received a substantial scholarship to both McGill University and New York University. His debut album Chapter One (released in 2019) pays homage to his heroes Scott LaFaro and Paul Chambers.

Jerusalem In My Heart

Jerusalem In My Heart (JIMH) is a live audio-visual performance project, with Montréal-based producer and musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh and Montréal-based filmmaker Charles-André Coderre at its core. Jerusalem In My Heart release their music on Montreal label Constellation Records. JIMH have released three studio albums, Mo7it Al-Mo7it (2013), If He Dies, If If If If If If (2015) and a self-titled album with Suuns, released on Secretly Canadian.

Fearlessly combining jazz, metal, electronic, and Americana, Lawful Citizen is an explosive force on the Canadian jazz scene. Formed in 2015 after meeting at McGill University, the band name reflects the discord felt by the common man, between remaining complacent and refusing to abide. The pendulum of their music swings from subtle beauty to relentless rage, driven by the musicality and sensitivity of the four musicians Lawful Citizen live performances have been described as a transcendent and mesmerizing experience. The band first tested their sound along with Gas Station Mentality at Bistro de Paris

Kate Wyatt

Celebrated Canadian pianist and composer Kate Wyatt is one of the top tier jazz musicians in the city of Montreal. She has been praised as having “musical ideas and a style of playing and writing that is on par with the current jazz piano elite: Mehldau, Yaron Herman, Shai Maestro, Fred Hersch.”, and has been hailed as “one of the top artists of Montreal, Quebec, or even Canadian jazz.” (Cardin/Brunet, panm360.com). Her most recent album “Artifact” was released to overwhelmingly excellent critical reviews, and was featured on “Best Jazz of 2022” lists from Canada, the US and Europe. From Peter Hum of the Ottawa Citizen: “Pianist and composer Kate Wyatt is making some of Canada’s most exciting and engrossing small-ensemble jazz these days”.

Michel Berthiaume

Michel Berthiaume - Drummer and composer

Michel Berthiaume has a master’s degree in jazz performance fromMcGill University and has completed his training through private studies with John Riley and John Hollenbeck. He has released two albums as a leader featuring original compositions. departure (XXI-21 productions) and recently Uncompromised (Independent).Some notable performances include a series of video episodes of the Mark Stein Show featuring internationally acclaimed vocalists such as Cheryl Bentine, Patsy Gallant, Robert Davi, and Carol Welsman, a Canadian tour with the Toronto signer Sophie Milman, a recording and European tour with the Jean-Nicolas Trottier Quartet and an award-winning recording and Quebec tour with Susie Arioli

Andrés Vial

Born: January 25, 1979

Andrés Vial (pronounced Vee-al) is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Montréal. 

He has performed with Joe Chambers, Peter Bernstein, Ingrid Jensen, Malika Tirolien (Bokanté), Ivan Neville, Michael Blake, Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba, André White, Kevin Dean, Greg Cohen, Al McLean, Kalmunity, Gamelan Giri Kedaton and many others.

Active as a leader and sideman, he has performed at over 50 festivals around the world, most recently appearing at the 2019 Vancouver International Jazz Festival and 2019 OFF Festival in Montreal.
