Pierre Cote

Born in Sorel Quebec, guitarist / composer / songwriter / producer Pierre Coté is one of the busiest studio/live musicians on the Montréal music scene. Over the last 20 years, he has toured or recorded with artists such as Jim Corcoran, Celine Dion, Carol Welsman, The Benny Goodman Orchestra (New York), Alain Caron (UZEB), Le Cirque du Soleil, Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets), Ken Peplowski, Dave Liebman, (New York) and countless others. Equally versed in jazz, blues, pop and country, he has played on several recording sessions. Pierre has also written music and several songs for various Hollywood and Canadian movie productions as well as themes for television

Français Cerbère est un ensemble de jazz instrumental montréalais qui propose un son moderne et chaleureux.Guidé par les compositions de Maïko Dubuc au piano et de Rémi Yergeau Morissette à la guitare, le groupe se démarque par son jazz actuel sensible et énergique qui s'adresse à tous les auditoires. Gisele

Founded in 2012, Gisèle is halfway netween modern instrumental jazz and progressive rock. The first album, Roger, was released in December 2013. A few EPs followed, a Christmas and even a Halloween album were released before the second album, Aldo, was launched in 2016. With varied influences such as Chris Potter, Kneebody, King Crimson, The Thing, and more recently, numerous hip hop artists, Gisèle's tunes stand out with contrasting sections. The precise, odd-time overdriven guitar riffs are well-balanced with free improvisation sections. The saxophone can pull off tasteful solos imediately followed by apocalyptic screaming with effects. Luc Herrmann

Born: April 28, 1991

Luc Herrmann is a Montreal based guitarist and a strong voice in the next generation of great jazz musicians the city has developed a reputation for. Having heavily studied the jazz guitar tradition, all the while appreciating current composers and improvisers, Luc’s sound is a natural blend of the old and the new. As a recent McGill graduate, Luc was able to study and perform with some of the best jazz musicians Canada has to offer. “The Luc Herrmann Group” is a modern Jazz quartet dedicated to playing the guitarist's music and achieving his artistic vision. Featuring Luc's favorite Montreal musicians: Jules Payette (Alto Saxophone) Louis-Vincent Hamel (Drums) and Levi Dover (Bass) The band always brings a high level of energy and great camaraderie to each performance having played together a number of years. The Quartet released their debut album entitled ''Luc Herrmann Group'' on October 10th 2017 at Resonance Café, one of Montreal's choice venues to hear emerging and creative jazz.

Philippe Cote

Born: May 23, 1979

Composer, saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and improviser, Montreal-based Philippe Côté is a musical explorer at the crossroads of jazz and classical. Lungta, his first album of original compositions for jazz quintet and wind orchestra, was produced by world-acclaimed American saxophonist David Binney. Philippe Côté spent over ten years crafting the album’s intriguing jazz and classical perspective, culminating in a body of work already earning critical appraisal: I LOVE your record. Jacques Kuba Seguin

Adventurous and multi-talented, trumpeter Jacques Kuba Séguin is a composer for groups of various formats: Odd Lot, Litania Projekt, or quintet, as for Migrations, his new album to be released in 2019. Séguin's musical repertoire is by turns melodic, explosive, and accessible. As a performer, he is definitely a showman, and he is recognized as one of the most brilliant trumpeters of his generation. A winner of the 2012-13 Radio-Canada Revelations prize, Séguin is more and more present on the Quebec stage. In 2015, he was nominated for ADISQ awards in two categories: best arranger and jazz album of the year for L'élévation du point de chute and, in 2016, for Litania Projekt with the Quatuor Bozzini in the same two categories

2Francis shine as a gypsy jazz duo. Their style is deeply rooted in the classic jazz tradition, but with a playfulness that keeps the music fresh and fun. Their arrangements are unique and inventive, always seeking a new approach to everything they do. Originally from Belgium, Francis Covan is a multi-instrumentalist. His prowess with the violin, accordion and guitar are heard around the world. He has worked with Le Cirque du Soleil on two productions (1994-1996 Allegria / Les chemins invisibles 2009-2010) He has also worked as a musician and arranger with several artists such as Lara Fabian, Isabelle Boulay, Daniel Lavoie, Claire Pelletier, Michel Rivard, Marie Michèle Desrosiers, Bori and Gilles Vigneault. Prolific jazz and pop guitarist, Francis Tétu’s professional debut at the Montreal Casino Cabaret allowed him to open for Paul Anka and Alain Choquette just to name a few

Suzi Silva

Born: April 9, 1984

Born in Portugal on April 9th 1984, she immigrates to Canada at the age of 6. At the age of 11 she makes her debuts singing Fado. In Motreal she presents herself for the first time at a local Fado house called “The grandfather of Fado”. She returns to Portugal at the age of 12 and there she begins discovering other musical genres. She sang pop, rock, soul, funk, Portuguese traditional, Brazilian music, bossa-nova, African music and then there was jazz… While she attended the Architecture program at Coimbra University she also began her music studies at the Coimbra Conservatory, in classical singing

Samuel Bonnet

Born: April 25, 1980

Samuel Bonnet’s music is an instrumental sound exploration traversed at the same time by the improvised tones of jazz and the melancholy of blues. At the crossroads of several musical universes, the guitarist manages to create an eclectic meeting space between classical and contemporary, somewhere at the crossroads of the natural resonance of classical guitar’s nylon strings and jazz inspirations. Through his music, Samuel Bonnet thus tells us his intimate and personal history in continuous dialogue with his plural roots. His musical universe breathes the perfume of acoustic colours, the memory of the uprooting and the nostalgia of a nomadic spirituality
