Luca Aquino

Luca Aquino was born in Benevento, Italy, in 1974. He devotes to the study of trumpet at the age of 19 as self-taught man to study then jazz with Lorenzo Federici and others. He got the Degree at the Federico II University in Naples. Luca is endorser of Hub Van Laar, trumpets and flugelhorns maker. He took part to the seminars by Paolo Fresu within “Città Spettacolo” of Benevento and the seminars by “Siena Jazz” under the guide of Marco Tamburini, Claudio Corvini, Pietro Leveratto and Paolino Dalla Porta and recorded with the Widequintet the album “Meet me in Sardinia” for the Splasc(h) Records
