Magro

With his music Berlin-based drummer and producer MAGRO creates an unusual fusion of acoustic Jazz and produced Hip-Hop/RnB. His project combines many of his musical influences such as Herbie Hancock, J Dilla and Chris Dave.

After his first album “Trippin” was released in 2021 and was awarded with the “German Jazz Prize” (for “Debut Album of the Year”), Magro released his follow- up album “II” (pronounced: Two). On the album he features, among others, the up- and-coming RnB singer Leona Berlin and the New York piano virtuoso BIGYUKI.

Over the years, Magro has collaborated with numerous artists as a drummer and producer- including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow, The Rolling Stones Project and J Lamotta. In addition, he has been a producer on many of Leona Berlin’s albums and singles – including “Wrong Lane (featuring Snoop Dogg)“.

Sonu Sangameswaran

Sonu Sangameswaran has been playing electric bass for over a decade now focused on the global sounds of Latin, hip-hop, electronica and African music interwoven with an original sense of groove. Born in India, raised in the Middle East and currently residing in Australia, Sonu is a completely self taught musician. He also has considerable experience in the fields of instructional design, philosophy of mind and earned himself a Master of Arts in Philosophy of Language. He recently released his debut album ‘Maximum Sessions Reached’ featuring a global cast of musicians

Dorian A Mohar

     Dorian Mohar is a seasoned trumpet teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BM in Music Education, MM in Trumpet Performance, worked 5 years as a Music Director and lead trumpet player on Carnival Cruise lines and has continued freelance trumpet lifestyle. He now teaches trumpet online and from his home studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is also the owner of Triplo Press, one of the world’s largest publishing companies of trumpet ensemble music. In addition, he runs trumpet clinics for schools, where he teaches students how to improve their sound, endurance, jazz skills, ensemble playing, and trumpet ensemble creation

Roxana Amed

Born: October 5

Roxana Amed has released six albums – Limbo (2004), Entremundos (2006), Cinemateca Finlandesa (2010), Inocencia (2011), La Sombra de Su Sombra (2013), Instantáneas (2019) – digitally released by Sony Music Latin, along with one DVD, La Voz Más Allá in 2009. Recipient of the Carlos Gardel Award for Argentine Music and the Martin Fierro Award for best song in a TV production, the singer/songwriter is also known for penning songs for other artists. She has worked extensively with Argentine multi instrumentalist Pedro Aznar, a veteran of the Pat Metheny Band and the producer of Amed’s first albums. Once in the US, she has collaborated with musicians based in NY as Guillermo Klein, Emilio Solla, Leo Genovese, vocalist Sofia Rei, and pianist/composer Frank Carlberg

Daniel "Pipi" Piazzolla started ESCALANDRUM (Jazz - Argentina) in 1999. The group's name is a portmanteau of "Escalandrún" (a species of shark which "Pipi" fishes with his father Daniel - hobby started by his grandfather Astor Piazzolla), and "drum". This genre bending, visually entertaining, virtuosic jazz funk group have nine CDs, 2 hit videos, several music awards, toured 25 times in Canada, 5 in the US, 17 in Europe, Caribbean, Central and South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The Shuffle Demons are excited to release their 9th album, crazy time. The album includes 10 original Shuffle Demons songs, seven instrumental and three vocal. Soojin Suh

Soojin Suh, is a Korean creative music artist, drummer, composer living in Seoul, Korea. Soojin Suh has been developing a reputation as one of the most promising drummers in Seoul since her professional career started in 2008. As a sideman, she has performed on over twenty recordings. As a leader, she has released three records: “The Moon In Your Hand” (2014), “Strange Liberation” (2018), and “Colorist” (2020) and is a member of the co-led ensemble, Baum Sae. She is also a member of Near East Quartet, whose 2018 album of the same name, “Near East Quartet,” was released by ECM records.

Janinah Burnett

Raised in jazz music, Janinah Burnett is the daughter of legendary jazz drummer Carl Burnett and writer/educator/artist Imani Constance. As a child, Janinah was surrounded by Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Eddie Harris, Nancy Wilson, George Cables, Billy Higgins, and many others who inspired her early musical beginnings. This innovative and exceptionally artistic beginning led to a myriad of musical activities throughout Janinah’s formative years. While in school at the Hamilton Music Academy in Los Angeles, Janinah won the solo vocal jazz competition at Cal State Fullerton, propelling her desire to serve her artistic muse and study vocal jazz music at Spelman College. Never wishing to be limited to any one genre, Janinah was clear she wanted to be able to use her voice to sing all styles

Kuba Cichocki

Born: August 5, 1984

The New York-based, Polish pianist and composer, Kuba Cichocki specializes in merging that which is often kept at odds: the classic and the avant-garde, the technical and the emotional; the rigorously written and the spontaneously performed. One of the exceptional talents to emerge from the Eastern European jazz scene in the late 2000s, Cichocki has persistently matured a personal style over the course of his career, leading him from—in his youth—touring and recording work with European stars Zbigniew Namysłowski, Michael Urbaniak, and Ursula Dudziak to—now, in his adulthood—groundbreaking experiments that throw even New York’s brightest musicians into uncharted territory. 

Dennis Mitcheltree

Born: September 25, 1964

Jazz saxophonist and composer Dennis Mitcheltree will release his 8th album as a leader, "Seeing Red", in Fall 2026.

A mainstay of the tenor saxophone, based in NYC & LA, he is on Janelle Monáe's 2024 Grammy nominated "The Age Of Pleasure".

Mitcheltree has performed and recorded with masters of the jazz world: Clark Terry, Billy Taylor, George Cables, Bill Holman, Bob Moses, Jim McNeely, Howard Johnson, Gary Bartz, Kenny Werner, James Williams, Don Sickler, Charli Persip, Ronnie Matthews, Pete Yellin, Richie Cole, Bill Holman, Pete Christlieb, Doug Webb, Carl Saunders, Joe Labarbera, John Clayton, Christian Jacob and Bruce Forman along with contemporaries Uri Caine, Ingrid Jensen, Johannes Wallmann, Andy Milne and David Binney.
