Ermesc Gonzalez

Born:

www.ermesc.com Born on April 1976 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. As a child he had the privilege of growing up surrounded by some of the best musicians that Puerto Rico had on those days and the exciting opportunity of listening and learning from them. His beginnings as a music student was with his father Ernesto Gonzalez and then he moved to the "self-taught" side, learning and searching for the knowledge of jazz harmony, improvisation and techniques; this was the same for the guitar as for the "congas". His perseverance and dedication helped him land a series of good expositions as a guitarist and percussionist. Later on, he decided to complete a Bachelor degree in music, which he got from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico . After achieving this he moved to New York where he studied under the guidance of renowned jazz guitarrist Paul Bollenback and completed a M.A. in jazz performance with honors from the Aaron's Copland School of Music (CUNY)

Infantree

Trees are carbon dioxide reducing, erosion preventing, oxygen producing, majestic, and sturdy life-forms that grow with their environment. These wise, woody creatures inspired young Alex Vojdani (vocals, lyrics, guitar, keys), Matt Kronish (vocals, lyrics, guitar, banjo), and Donald Fisher (vocals, lyrics, keys, synth bass, mandolin, guitar) as high school students in Calabasas, CA. Their longing for blissful innocence and spiritual appreciation of nature, coupled with their camaraderie, begat Infantree in 2007.

Having three distinct leaders is both the strength and the challenge for the band, so the 2008 addition of drummer Jordan Avesar provided not only a serious backbeat, but also a psychological glue.

Alex, Matt and Donald began playing guitar as young boys, but naturally picked up other disciplines with no instruction

trio.Schmetterling

Based upon a jam session in 2007, influenced by all currents of modern music, avant-garde and jazz, the trio consisting of Jan Roth, Keisuke Matsuno and Alexander Binder plays innovative instrumental music which, in spite of the progressive fragments, tend to non-conformism. Technically whole, evenly played songs that tell compelling stories without words. Tracks that have found their own language, music that sounds like flying. The current self-titled album and the concerts are marked by an incredible wealth of facets. Elegiac compositions played in unison alternate with free-floating improvisation parts

Greg Arney

When Greg was 10, he asked his father to teach him to play the guitar. His father said, "If you start playing now, when you grow up, people will love you." He imagined what it would be like to be gawked at and admired because of such a skill, and decided he didn't want to learn. It would be nearly a decade before he was to reconsider. Music continued searching for him until finally, seven years later, he discovered an acoustic guitar in the attic. Greg became obsessed with discovering all of the sounds that it could make. He listened to and imitated many recordings, including blues, jazz, funk, Latin, flamenco, celtic and Japanese popular music. Greg currently lives in Boston, MA where he is involved in the thriving music scene
