Andres Marcos Revellado

Andrés-Marcos Revellado is a Spanish multi-instrumentalist based in Zurich, who started very early his musical formation. Trained jazz bass and double bass player; plays also guitar, piano and drums. Swimmer against stream; his approach to electronic music is strongly influenced by acoustic and improvised forms of music. He has also worked for theatre companies as composer and performer, and played in every sort of ensemble going from hard rock groups to jazz big bands. Constantly attempting to break the boundaries between jazz and electronic music, has never liked rules, and never had interest in guidelines and belonging to a single musical style. He plays hardware/software/instrumental live acts focussed on improvisation and live performance

Ryan Burns

Ryan Burns studied piano at Berklee School of Music in Boston, and has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 20 years. He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall-of- Famers Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, Yardbirds), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick) and Duff MacKagan (Guns and Roses); as well as with elite jazz artists such as Wayne Horvitz, Skerik, Matt Jorgensen, Thomas Marriott, Bobby Previte, Bobby Watson and others. Burns has played piano with the Tacoma Symphony, wrote music for the Food Network TV show “Food Nation with Bobby Flay,” and played piano with the group Thunderpussy for the soundtrack of the Hollywood movie “Fighting with My Family.” Burns spent time on faculty at University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University

I was born on International Literacy Day, 1995 in Los Angeles, California. In my early youth, Math was my bread and butter, and English was my bane and burden. The preschool lesson on months baffled me to no end. How was I supposed to determine the order or day-count of the months? The memorization without utility was just waste of brain space. In Math lessons, I learned a rule and could apply it immediately after, and I could always justify the rule if I forgot it. My elementary school music classes made me realize music had similar universal rules. My father, the biggest Chicago fan I know and a high school trumpet player, had Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power, Chase and of course Chicago playing in the house frequently
