Her mother, Janis Kelly, is an accomplished vocalist, who sang with Maurice White and the Emotions, and opened for Rufus & Chaka Khan, Tower of Power and Carole King. Her father, Mark Cardenas, is a professional keyboardist, and a Platinum and Gold recording artist, whose credits include Prince, Morris Day and the Time, Janet Jackson, and The Song Catchers (featuring Charles Neville). From an early age, she was raised on a strict diet of funk, soul, and r&b. She received a Waldorf education, which taught her a deep appreciation for the arts, and a passion for singing

Kristin has been singing and performing since she was 8 years old. She began studying jazz and piano in 2009 and performs at festivals and venues such as the Mid Atlantic Jazz Festival, SOUTH, Montpelier Arts Center, Wine in the Woods, Woodmere Art Museum, Rockwood Music Hall, Twins Jazz, and Rams Head On Stage with the Chuck Redd Quintet. In 2015, Kristin recorded “Poor Butterfly” with bassist, Blake Meister for the Maryland Public Television show, “Artworks.” In November 2017, she sang for the NBC Executive’s Event with guitarist, Rich Barry and pianist, Pascal Le Boeuf and a month later was featured in the Melting Pot Big Band at the Havre De Grace Opera House

Juliana is a 25-year-old singer/songwriter from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Self-taught on the piano and ukulele, she wrote her first song at age eleven. At fourteen, it was clear songwriting was her passion, and by sixteen, she released her first album, Dance in the Rain. She has competed locally, nationally, and worldwide in various competitions for voice and songwriting and won several prizes and scholarships over the years. In 2015, she co-wrote her single "Diamonds" with Jimmy Needham. Juliana has a retro jazz vibe that will take you back to the likes of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald! Her acoustic version of "Blue" hit #1 on the FAB Chart in England, where she was runner-up for Artist of the Year, right behind Connie Talbot

Teri Roiger has been making music all her life (since age 5!) and over the years her music has taken many exciting twists and turns. Teri is a jazz vocalist, but also plays piano, composes music and writes lyrics. She has been sharing her knowledge and inspiration with her many students at SUNY New Paltz for several years. The depth of her experiences and love of jazz is apparent when she brings all of her talents to a live performance, the recording studio, and in her compositions. Her latest recording, her most personal and powerful to date, was released by Dot Time Records in 2017, and is her fourth release as a bandleader – GHOST OF YESTERDAY: Shades of Lady Day — a heartfelt tribute to Billie Holiday, to coincide with Lady Day's 102nd birth year

The composer singer and flutist Tamara Obrovac, is one of the most impressive artists on the Croatian music scene, she is one of those musicians to whom jazz means a path to understanding music as a whole. Moreover, it has ushered her towards an intensive investigation of her own regional music awareness, so she offers us a new musical journey through the Istrian and Mediterranean spaces and times. Istria is here homeland, beautiful Croatian region, a North Adriatic peninsula, particular for It's musical and dialectal tradition, which is the creative force of her works. She writes lyrics in a local dialect and sings in an ancient dialect which is not spoken any more - the Istriotic dialect. In addition to here international concert activities, (numerous festivals, clubs, venues, more then 500 concerts all over the world) and many collaborations, she composes music for theatre and film, and for here work she received many awards. Her international Transhistria Ensemble incorporates elements of Istrian and Mediterranean national music, jazz, and many elements of modern music, and her music, completely original and autochthonous, goes beyond time and geographical boundaries, thus becoming a universal artistic message, establishing Tamara Obrovac as an exceptional artist who managed to create her own unique musical expression. This creative musician has become known for her highly aesthetic performances, her interpretations are suffused with spontaneity, inventive improvisation, freedom, humour and the ability to communicate with the audience, an artist of a strong persona, a life and artistic force able to enchant any audience... As she said: "jazz is my freedom, and my roots are my inner truth..." She published 12 Author CDs: Triade, 1996; Ulika, 1998; Transhistria, 2001; Sve pasiva/Everything fades away, 2003; Daleko je/Is faraway, 2005; Neću više jazz kantati/I won’t sing jazz any more, 2009, featuring her new band “Transhistria electric” with a fresh fusion of Istrian ethno and funky and soul music; and "Madirosa", 2011, in collaboration with the Epoque String Quartet from Prague. CD “Ulika revival” with her quartet, that had successful showcase on Jazz-ahead Bremen 2013, (Unit records, Switzerland, June 2014) got very good international reviews including All About Jazz, Jazzthetik, Jazz Podium, Jazzthing, Kulturtipp, Jazz'nmore, Jazz convention, etc. CD “Canto amoroso” with her main band Transhistria ensemble, registered at Artesuno studio in Italy is published, in 2016 for Austrian label Alessa records. Live at ZKM is Tamara's first (double) live album recorded on the concert of her Transhistria ensemble in Zagreb Youth theatre at the and of 2016, and published for Cantus, Croatian composers society label in 2018. The CD TransAdriaticum was published in 2019 for Austrian Alessa records with the new formation of musicians, featuring Stefano Battaglia on piano, and Salvatore Maiore on double bass, and latest CD Villa Idola is published in 2020 for Croatian label Aquarius records, and is a collaboration of her Transhistria ensemble and Croatian Radio television Jazz orchestra, with new arrangements of selected Tamara's songs. Through her albums, Tamara profiles her own authorial approach and creates a unique artistic form which, inspired by the Istrian and broader Mediterranean tradition, establishes “the personal poetics of the author”. Luciana Morelli

Luciana Morelli (1990) is an Argentinian singer, performer and composer based in Basel, Switzerland. Her music draws on a rich palette of influences from Argentinian music, jazz, sound poetry and free improvisation.

She leads her own project as a singer and composer and recently released her second album as a bandleader “Lo abismal, el agua” (ears&eyes records, 2021), in which she tells the story of her journey to Switzerland, not only with lyrics, but also with her wordless vocals and arrangements, building a bridge between her Argentinian musical roots and jazz.
The album received very good reviews in magazines and blogs such as Jazz N More, SKJazz, among others, and was chosen "Album of the Week" by NQ Jazz (UK) and by the radio program "Jazz am Sunntig" (Radio RaBe, CH). It was also part of the October selection of Club del Disco (Argentina) and has been broadcasted on Radio Swiss Jazz and on international radio programs such as Jazzkultura (Poland), WDR (Germany), NDR (Hamburg, Germany) and Radio Nacional (Argentina), among others.
In 2022-23 Luciana and her band went on tour and played at various venues in Argentina,
Switzerland, France (Festival Jazz á la Citè, Paris) and Germany, receiving a very good reception from the public and the press.
"Words of the wind" is the name of her new album, in which poems by Anne Carson, Robin Myers, Emily Brontë and Alejandra Pizarnik find their musical expression in the singer's voice and in her compositions and arrangements for different instrumentations and ensembles.
