The doors are open...'Before It Lasted' out February 14th, for all the romantics???? horanVi began life as a passion project between guitarist & producer Sam Horan and vocalist ‘Violet’. The pair met in Leeds and formed part of Jazz/ Neo Soul/ Dub collective Kalyan. When the pandemic struck the band split, but the synergy between them endured and over the last few years they exchanged ideas across the English Channel and the seeds were sown. Now both back on home soil in the UK, the newly fledged writing duo will be releasing new tunes throughout this year from their forthcoming album - written, produced and mixed by Sam from his home studio in London, which occasionally features fellow Jazz musicians along the way

Since When? was formed by guitarist, bassist and composer Terence Culpepper . Their music is a fusion of jazz, rhythm & blues and Brazilian styles which reflect the range of influences Mr. Culpepper has been exposed to throughout his musical career. Since When? also performs arrangements of songs written or performed by the artists who haveinfluenced Mr. Culpepper's own compositional style which includes Antonio Carlos Jobim, Sade, The Rippington's and others. Remarks Mr. Culpepper on his approach to covering other composer's songs:
"When we begin to do another composer's song, I don't want the audience to recognize the song untilabout the 16th to 24th bar!"

Karl Clews
Karl began his musical odyssey at the age of 8, on the classical guitar. Having achieved a distinction at grade 8 and a Performer’s Diploma by the age of 16, Karl turned his attention to the bass guitar: ‘I was heavily into soul, funk and fusion as a teenager,’ he states, ‘and I quickly realized that it was the bass guitar that really drove and directed this kind of music.’
Influenced by such virtuoso bass players as Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Louis Johnson, Armand Sabal-Lecco and Mark King, Karl developed a distinctive percussive and rhythmic style that quickly established him as an in-demand player for jazz, blues and soul bands whilst still at university in Oxford

Ronny deCarlo is the moniker of the Dutch/Colombian guitarist and producer Roenik Roa Espinosa.
His project Fonque Nouveau is about finding a fresh and soulful sound, combining the adventure of jazz with the bombastic beats of hip hop, brought to life by a dynamic band that combines raw live energy with a modern, electronic and cinematic sound.
Ronny’s soundscape also weaves in contemporary influences, drawing from Afrobeats and Trap Soul to create a lush musical tapestry.
A winner of 2023's 'The Records', a competition by the Keep an Eye Foundation, Ronny utilized his prize to record his debut album Fonque Nouveau, which received accolades in the Dutch jazz scene as well as an Edison Jazz 2024 (Dutch grammy's) nomination in the category 'Newcomer'.

Harold Widerik, pseudonym for Wim Frederik Harold Pauwels, is a Belgian author, composer and musician. Although he received the highest award for four-part classical music writing, he has a strong preference for contemporary jazz. Well Tempered Madness
Based in Las Vegas, Well Tempered Madness is the brainchild of guitarist Steve Fansler, who has worked with jazz greats Tony Guerrero, Quincy Jones, Clark Terry, Ed Shaughnessy, and Louis Belson, and is inspired by many different genres and all of the music that he's had the chance to play. Two years ago, the band played their first live gigs and their self-titled debut album was recorded in 2023. Well Tempered Madness features Stephen Fansler on guitar and vocals; Uli Geissendoerfer on piano, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond, and synths; Tom Bolton on drums; Mike Merritt on bass; Jeanette Jurado (a member of the multi-platinum group Exposé) on vocals (tracks #2 and #5) and Jose "Pepe" Jimenez on percussion.
