He has collaborated with numerous artists such as Paul Pinto, Bonita Oliver, John Sanborn, Nicholas Finch, Charlotte Mundy, Pamela Z, and Frank London. After graduating from Michigan State University, she went on to study jazz and improvisation at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has collaborated with top musicians in Detroit, Boston and New York, including Rodney Whitaker, Johnny O'Neal, Larry Harlow, Ed Byrne, Kanye West, DJ Premiere and Josh Groban. Her first jazz album "Maureen Choi Quartet" (2011) was very well received among US radio stations and in publications such as Jazziz Magazine and Jazz Corner, staying in AllAboutJazz.com’s Top 50 for several months

Chris Lastovicka

Chris Lastovicka designs music dealing primarily with psychological and metaphysical subjects. Most of Lastovicka’s music can be loosely categorized as mystic minimalism. An excerpt from Lastovicka’s opera "Crossing the Horizon" was performed by New York City Opera at their VOX: Showcasing American Composers festival; the opera was also a finalist in OperaVista’s international chamber opera competition (Houston). Lastovicka’s music has been performed at the Boston Early Music Festival, Merce Cunningham Studio, and in Spoleto, Italy. Chris Lastovicka composed the original score for Robin Becker Dance’s "Into Sunlight", a work about the Vietnam War that has enjoyed performances internationally. Chris Lastovicka released their first album of chamber music "Fortune Has Turned" in 2005 on the Ahari Press label

From the early beginnings in 2012 StarkLinnemann is producing music with an agelessness character. As musicians and composers they are creating a style of their own by blending jazz with elements of classical music and world music. Their definition of being an artist means to constantly push oneself in order to reach the ultimate rendition of a work of art. StarkLinnemann’s approach of transforming classical masterpieces by Liszt, Chopin, Mussorgsky and Beethoven into long and complex but coherent and moving modern jazz compositions is exceptional in jazz-history. The genre of StarkLinnemann is best described as Universal Crossover Music.

Francis Hon

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Francis Hon (洪維浩) began playing classical piano at the age of six. In 2011, Francis moved to the United States to pursue a Doctorate in Piano Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studied with Gregory Allen, the Grand Prize winner of the 1980 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Francis was always influenced by a variety of musical genres, which formed the foundation of his future musical style. Francis ignited his passion for jazz music in Austin, “the live music capital of the world.” While continuing his classical piano studies, he took up jazz piano with Jeff Hellmer and started playing with many musicians on the Austin jazz scene. He also worked as the Assistant Artistic Director and Lead Pianist for “Life in the City,” a weekly concert with jazz music and other genres. Francis’ final doctorate thesis in the work of Nikolai Kapustin solidified his interest in combining elements of classical music with the jazz idiom.

Andy Firth

Born: March 9, 1966

Andy Firth started his performance career at the age of 14 when he appeared around South Australia featuring in small groups and big bands. By 17 Andy had moved to Adelaide and co-founded his first band The BBC Trio and later the BBC Quartet, Andy Firth’s reputation as one of Australia’s most outstanding jazz talents was further endorsed with his appearances on ABC, channel 7,9 and 10 television shows, The Burrows Collection, Sunday, Hey, Hey it’s Saturday, Clive Robertson’s News World and The Midday Show with Ray Martin. Today, Andy Firth is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding clarinet players in the world, having played internationally with some of the greatest performers, bands and orchestras in both classical and jazz music
