Peruvian native Anibal Marcelo Seminario is a Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator. Studying on a full scholarship, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Performance at California State University, Long Beach. Since graduating from CSULB, Anibal works in the greater Los Angeles area as a freelance woodwind player, recording artist, arranger, and producer.  Seminario is the co-founder and director of “The Afro-Peruvian Jazz Orchestra” alongside Peruvian saxophonist Lorenzo Ferrero. The APJO is a 20-piece big band that merges elements of traditional Afro-Peruvian music with Jazz into an exciting new sound

Sylvain Rifflet

Saxophonist, Clarinettist and French composer, graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris, Sylvain Rifflet is the winner of the competition of La Defense and has received several awards including a "victoire du jazz" and a "Django d’or". Natsuki Sugiyama is a saxophone and woodwind player from Tokyo, Japan working in the United States and Japan. After graduating from high school, Natsuki attended the Berklee College of Music on scholarship. Since then, she has had the opportunity to perform at many prestigious events and venues in the US and Japan. Natsuki has been fortunate enough to study with George Garzone, Frank Tiberi, Hal Crook, Greg Hopkins, Darren Barrett and Dan Higgins. As a recording artist, Natsuki is very in-demand for her versatility on a wide variety of instruments. Some of her session work includes the musical comedy Lucky Stiff, in which she was a featured soloist on alto sax, flute, and clarinet

Federico Calcagno

Federico Calcagno (1995) is a clarinet and bass clarinet player, creative jazz musician and composer from Milan, Italy, and currently active between Italy and The Netherlands. <> has considered on of the most exciting clarinet players and creative musicians of the young generation. As composer, Federico regularly writes music for his bands: Liquid Identities, Piranha, The Dolphians, Fade in Trio. His compositional style is a mixed between creative-expressive jazz and post modern classical music, with particular attention to the rhythmic aspect, influenced by classical Indian music from south of India (Carnatic Music) and African music. As leader and co-leader, Federico has released three albums and one EP till now: From Another Planet (2019), Liquid Identities (2020), Urlo d’Ebano (2021), Piranha (2021). Federico studied classical and jazz clarinet at Milan Conservatory, and in 2019 he graduated in Jazz Master in bass clarinet at Amsterdam Conservatory and attended the International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (Canada), directed by Vijay Iyer and Tyshawn Sorey. Federico has been active between Amsterdam, Milan and Bruxelles

Michael Hudson-Casanova

Originally from Detroit, Michael Hudson-Casanova is an alto saxophonist, composer, and improviser who has lived in Chicago since 2021. His debut album, Echoes of Thought, is “…an exceptional record by a killer band,” -All About Jazz. His music blends traditional and contemporary jazz concepts and consistently leaves plenty of room for dynamic improvisation with carefully chosen bandmates.

Hudson-Casanova has received awards, scholarships, and grants for his music, including individual artist grants from Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and the Illinois Arts Council Agency. In 2022, he was featured as a soloist with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra for their production of “Charlie Parker: With Strings.”

Elizabeth Millar is an experimental musician, sound-artist and clarinetist, based in Montreal since 2009. Engaging with sound, noise, free improvisation and self-made instrument building, her creative practice explores the merging of acoustic and electronic textures using amplification and extended techniques. Active locally, nationally and internationally she has performed throughout Canada and in Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Mexico. Alongside her solo work, she is also one member of Sound of the Mountain, an amplified clarinet and trumpet duo with Craig Pedersen
