Sarah Jerrom

Born: November 8, 1979

Sarah Jerrom is a JUNO-nominated Canadian vocalist, pianist, composer and arranger specializing in jazz and creative music, taking her inspiration from lyric-driven melodies, genre-defying instrumentation and experimental soundscapes. As a bandleader, Sarah has released four critically-acclaimed albums to date: Magpie, a double album featuring her original eighty-six-minute suite for extended jazz orchestra (2024, TPR Records),  Dream Logic (2021, TPR Records), which showcases a collection of original songs recorded by her contemporary jazz quartet of the same name, The Yeats Project (2017), featuring W.B. Yeats’s poetry set to original music and orchestrated for a nine-piece chamber jazz ensemble, and Illuminations (2007), which encompasses original compositions, jazz-inspired arrangements of contemporary songs and traditional jazz standards.

Angela on the Arts is a trio convened by jazz trumpeter/composer John D’earth who has performed internationally, and appeared on over 100 recordings with Dave Matthews, Bruce Hornsby, John Abercrombie, Emily Remler, Kait Dunton, Pat Metheny, Lionel Hampton, Tito Puente, and Buddy Rich, among many others. D'earth has recorded as a leader for Vanguard Records, ENJA Records, DoubleTime Jazz and his own Cosmology label.

Within is Angela on the Arts' debut album. D’earth plays trumpet, flugelhorn, flutes and percussion, Bonnie Gordon plays viola, and Michelle Oliva plays bass clarinet and employs looping

Danny Green

Born: September 10, 1981

Over the past decade, jazz pianist and Origin Records recording artist Danny Green has earned recognition as a bandleader and as a composer with a gift for spinning supple, absorbing narratives. Green’s growing portfolio of vibrant sounds – an enchanting mix of jazz, classical, and Brazilian rhythms – has captured the attention of critics around the world, including DownBeat Magazine, Jazziz, San Diego Union Tribune, the Boston Globe, and Public Radio International. It’s no small wonder that Green has earned two San Diego Music awards for Best Jazz Album and an additional award for Best Jazz Artist

Maureen Choi

Born: March 11, 1983

Since starting to play violin at age 3, Maureen has won numerous solo competitions and performed with orchestras all over the U.S., Europe and Asia. After graduating from Michigan State University, she went on to study jazz and improvisation at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has collaborated with top musicians in Detroit, Boston and New York, including Rodney Whitaker, Johnny O'Neal, Larry Harlow, Ed Byrne, Kanye West, DJ Premiere and Josh Groban. Her first jazz album "Maureen Choi Quartet" (2011) was very well received among US radio stations and in publications such as Jazziz Magazine and Jazz Corner, staying in AllAboutJazz.com’s Top 50 for several months

Josh Rosen

Josh Rosen has performed/recorded with jazz greats Joe Lovano, Mick Goodrick, George Garzone, Greg Hopkins, Bob Moses, Stan Strickland, Phil Grenadier, John Lockwood, Dennis Irwin, Steve Slagle, Bennie Wallace, George Schuller, The Either/Orchestra and Ethiopian master musicians Mulatu Astake and Mahmoud Ahmed, among many others.

A pianist and prolific composer, Rosen has released seven albums. “American Waltz” features jazz masters George Garzone and Mick Goodrick.

With Boston legend Stan Strickland (woodwinds, vocals), Rosen has produced three stellar albums: the intimate duo Instinct, Seasons (a jazz quartet; 2019) and Three Moments, a brilliant improvisational trio with master percussionist Ra Kalam Bob Moses.

Callum Watson

Born: April 2, 1997

Callum Watson is an award-winning pianist, composer and producer specialising in both Jazz and Classical music. He recently won the Margaret Schofield Scholarship for composition having played at internationally renowned venues such as Melbourne Recital Centre, Malthouse Theatre and Bennetts Lane Jazz Club. As a composer, Callum has written original scores for nine theatre productions including one musical and also has a diverse portfolio of concert works which have been played by ensembles internationally.

Over three decades, Los Angeles vocalist and songwriter Susan Krebs has created a captivating body of work, combining a free-ranging imagination with a supple sense of swing. Dubbed the Jazz Gardener, both for her lovingly tended musical bouquets and the inspiration she draws from cultivating her small plot of land, Krebs has sown a brilliant array of projects and recordings with a regular cast of L.A. jazz luminaries.

A restlessly creative artist, she's covered a lot of sonic territory over the years, and her latest album, 2025's Little Did I Dream, marks a return to her straight-ahead roots. Eschewing the kind of crafty conceptual frameworks that have defined most of her previous albums, she simply revels in interpreting a set of songs that provided pleasure and succor during the pandemic's chaotic hangover years.

Rob Clutton

Born: September 10, 1966

Rob Clutton is a Toronto-based composer/performer who works in the intersections of composition and improvisation, in long-term projects in which the relationship of the musicians has a central but incalculable role. Rob’s impetus to play the bass comes from listening, allowing inspiration to reside in a sonic imaginary, in which the sound of the bass is the same as the tree singing is the same as the human listening. Rob has two solo bass albums: Dubious Pleasures and Suchness Monster, on the Rat-Drifting label. Oct 12, 2018 is the release date of Rob’s 6th CD of compositions, Leeways, featuring the Cluttertones and Lee Pui Ming

Fusing the spontaneity of jazz with soaring folk melodies, shimmering impressionism, and head bopping backbeats, Espinoza explores the art of musical storytelling with the refinement of classical chamber music but the freedom of jazz. Espinoza has performed professionally with jazz luminaries such as Sean Jones, Warren Wolf, Miho Hazama, Jihye Lee, Paul Bollenback, John D’earth, Mike Pope, Chuck Redd, and Kris Funn.
