Carol Saboya

								Born:
It has always been a musical environment. Carol Saboya, the composer Antônio Adolfo's daughter, was raised surrounded by inspired chords, scribbled scores and songs being born: The art in its full creation process. When she was eight, she had her voice recorded for the first time along with Miéle for the compact disc A menina e a TV. When she was still a little girl, she took part as a vocalist in albums of Erasmo Carlos and Ângela Ro Ro. She also took part in the historical musical presentation Verde que te quero ver and infantile soundtracks. The greatest international contribution to American Jazz may well be that from Latin America, generally, and Brazil, specifically. Brazil lends to jazz a rhythmically humid breeze that is, at once, floral, earthy, fecund, and sated. Two contemporary Brazilian gift-givers include the father-daughter forces of nature pianist/composer Antonio Adolfo and his daughter Carol Saboya. There is no ...

Classic samba from enchanting Brazilian vocalist Carol Saboya and a first-rate band. It's a family affair, with her father, pianist/composer Antonio Adolfo in charge of piano and arrangements.
