Paula Maya

Paula Maya is an award winning Brazilian pianist, keyboardist, singer, composer and recording artist, nominated Best Brazilian Musician living in the US. The official release of her eleventh album Mar da Minha Terra, Yellow House Records, is July 25th 2023.

Paula Maya has songs in several compilations with artists such as Jimmy Cliff. She holds a degree from the Brazilian Conservatory of Music in Rio de Janeiro. Her compositions have roots in Brazilian traditional rhythms and melodies, such as maracatú, baião and samba. They are also inspired and influenced by bossa nova, jazz, blues, Cuban music and African music. 

Camila Ronza

Camila Ronza. Born on February 10, 1995, in São Paulo, Brazil. From an early age, she had contact with music because of her very musical family, who always inspired and encouraged her. As a child, she joined OSESP Children's Choir and performed as a solo singer, so she soon decided to be a singer and make music her profession. Camila completed her bachelor's degree in Popular Music Vocal Performance at Faculdade de Música Souza Lima, in the city of São Paulo, in 2016. In the following year, she was granted a scholarship from the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation to continue her studies in France, at the Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood (CMDL), where she graduated from the professional course “Le Jazz et les Musiques Improvisées”, returning to Brazil in July 2019. During her undergraduate course, she became a member of the Youth Choir of the State of São Paulo, and of Nômade, a vocal and body percussion group

Pianist and composer Quinn Johnson has lived in four different countries on three different continents, and has played music from around the world with Cuban, Brasilian, Persian, African, Middle Eastern and Chinese artists. Nina Ernst

Nina Ernst is a singer and actress, based in Berlin, Germany. She grew up near Hamburg, where she completed her education at the „Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg“. She then moved to Berlin, where she discovered her love for jazz singing. In addition to her classical singing training, she took lessons with jazz legend Sheila Jordan, among others.

In 2006 she interpreted German folk songs in Brazilian music style on the album “Degas/Weiser - Heimat, von fern so nah” (Label: Piranha Musik), with which she subsequently toured South America.

2009 she recorded the Bossa Nova - CD “Nina Ernst canta Jobim” in Rio de Janeiro (Label: Fina Flor), which has received many good reviews in Brazil and was even praised by Bossa Nova legend Leny Andrade (quote: “One of the best Bossa Nova CDs I have heard”).

Emilia Vancini

Ramiro Pinheiro

Born: March 26, 1980

Ramiro Pinheiro is a subtle and creative acoustic guitarist from Brazil who is also a talented songwriter. He was mostly self-taught at the beginning, learning the guitar by ear before attending the Conservatório Souza Lima in São Paulo. Pinheiro moved to Barcelona (Spain) 14 years ago and he has been an important part of the local music scene ever since, working with a wide variety of top jazz and Brazilian musicians. While he has appeared on several recordings since 2010, Sentido is his debut CD as a leader.

Tulio is a Brazilian musician, carrying advanced degrees and experience in the fields of Percussion, Music Production and Sound Engineering. A Brazilian professional actor and singer, Thiago Pach is well known for his strong and versatile tenor voice and for his sensitive performances of an eclectic musical selection that goes from Blues and Jazz songs to the most extraordinary Brazilian popular music repertory. He started his studies in drama when he was fourteen, in O Tablado, a drama school from Maria Clara Machado. At this age he was already strongly involved in theater and music.
