Quinn Johnson

Pianist and composer Quinn Johnson has lived in four different countries on three different continents, and has played music from around the world with Cuban, Brasilian, Persian, African, Middle Eastern and Chinese artists. Some of those he has had the pleasure of working with include Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Rita Coolidge, Mike Stoller, Martin Short, Jack Sheldon, Diane Schuur, Tom Scott, Richard Carpenter, Judith Hill, Poncho Sanchez, Flora Purim, Wayne Brady, John Densmore (of The Doors), Ben E King, Bettye La Vette, Elba Ramalho,DowntotheBone,JerrySeinfeld, AirtoMoreira,FranciscoAguabella,Christopher Cross, Alvaro Torres and Dancing with the Stars (US/Canada tour). Quinn was the music director/pianist for American songbook singer Steve Tyrell for 16 years

Nina Ernst

Born:

Nina Ernst is a singer and actress, based in Berlin, Germany. She grew up near Hamburg, where she completed her education at the „Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg“. She then moved to Berlin, where she discovered her love for jazz singing. In addition to her classical singing training, she took lessons with jazz legend Sheila Jordan, among others.

In 2006 she interpreted German folk songs in Brazilian music style on the album “Degas/Weiser - Heimat, von fern so nah” (Label: Piranha Musik), with which she subsequently toured South America.

2009 she recorded the Bossa Nova - CD “Nina Ernst canta Jobim” in Rio de Janeiro (Label: Fina Flor), which has received many good reviews in Brazil and was even praised by Bossa Nova legend Leny Andrade (quote: “One of the best Bossa Nova CDs I have heard”).

Ramiro Pinheiro

Ramiro Pinheiro is a subtle and creative acoustic guitarist from Brazil who is also a talented songwriter. He was mostly self-taught at the beginning, learning the guitar by ear before attending the Conservatório Souza Lima in São Paulo. Pinheiro moved to Barcelona (Spain) 14 years ago and he has been an important part of the local music scene ever since, working with a wide variety of top jazz and Brazilian musicians. While he has appeared on several recordings since 2010, Sentido is his debut CD as a leader.

Born in 1948 in Santa Catarina, Brasil. He grew up in Curitiba, Parana, Brasil. Ademar Fonseca is a highly talented brazilian musician with uncommon knowledge of music gained since early age. At age eight he acquired his first acoustic guitar. At age 13 he put together his first band. It was a duo with his brother Ademir on vocal and percussion. As his style developed he continued to perform in bars, musical shows, radio stations, theaters, concert halls, museums and in the most famous carnival in the world. His talent with a variety of musical instruments: upright bass, eletric bass guitar, acoustic guitar, acoustic guitar and vocal, only added to his appeal
