Bassist Nicholas Krolak is a young veteran of the Philadelphia jazz scene. He has spent the last decade working as a side-man, experiencing new styles, and studying with the masters. Now, he has taken all he has learned and is applying it to his own group. Tracing the lineage of bebop into the contemporary, his compositions celebrate the city and honor nature. He is also the host of the Voice = Power Podcast in which he interviews visionaries of the Jazz world, pursuing the question: How does an artist find their voice?

Richard Pavlidis is a saxophonist, composer, teacher and multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne, Australia. Educated at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Richard has toured Australia, New Zealand and Europe and has performed at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass, The Manly Jazz Festival in Sydney, and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Richard's debut solo album 'Without Within' was released worldwide in 2019 and supported by an Australian tour. Music from this album can be found in the Australian Jazz Real Book and the Australian Jazz Museum. Jamie O'Donnell

Jamie O'Donnell is a London based alto saxophonist. He began playing alto saxophone aged 17 after falling in love with the music of Charlie Parker, growing to love the playing of the great alto players Phil Woods, Jackie McLean, Cannonball Adderley, Art Pepper and Sonny Stitt. Jamie studied saxophone with Aubrey Frank before attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London where he studied with Jean Toussaint and Simon Purcell. Jamie has also studied with the Bebop legend, pianist Barry Harris. A prolific composer, Jamie writes tunes for his own quartet "S.A.O.L.E." which has been together since 1998

Jacob Wise

A native of Austin, Texas, Jacob Wise is a jazz guitarist with an open mind. Jacob received his musical education at the University of North Texas, where he received an M.M. in Jazz Studies, and was a member of the renowned One O'Clock Lab Band and a Graduate Teaching Fellow. He is equally at home performing with his trio in a jazz club, playing a Broadway musical, a rock 'n roll church gig, or a wedding. He spent four years working in the show band aboard Princess Cruises, traveling the world and visiting over 30 countries. His first CD, "Jacob Wise Trio", was released in 2010, and his new quartet CD, “Paseo”, was released in February 2019. He’s on the faculty at Austin Community College, and maintains a busy private teaching studio.

Vlad West

Vlad West, known in Russia as Vladimir Sermakashev, was a child prodigy. Born in Baku (Russia) he studied piano from age three, composition from age five. At that early age he was playing solo piano concerts at Baku Conservatory and was taking composing and arranging lessons with well known professors. Mr. West has technique and knowledge of classical and jazz music well beyond ordinary piano player. As Mr. Starr (president of Oberlin College, Jazz Study) said about West in one of his books on jazz: "In his combination of grittiness and lyricism, blues feeling and sheer drive, he has few equals, in Europe certainly and even in America."
