Chris Mondak

Born in Venezuela, raised in Illinois, and now residing in Nashville, composer and bassist Chris Mondak, just 23 years of age, already has amassed vast experience in jazz. A 2020 graduate of the New England Conservatory, Chris has studied with bass luminaries Cecil McBee, Dave Holland, and Larry Gray, and performed with the likes of Shelly Berg, Melanie Charles, Dave Douglas, Wayne Escoffery, Wycliffe Gordon, Jeff Hamilton, Jesus Molina, Matt Savage, and Marvin Stamm.
Chris has toured extensively in the U.S., playing with the Jazz band of America, jazz vocalist Daniel LeClaire, Chicago rock band Rev Gusto, and his own jazz combos The Chris Mondak Band and West of Staley

Andreas Hertel

Born:
Andreas Hertel is a German jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, and piano teacher. Since the early 90ies he has been active on the German jazz scene.
He published 10 CDs with mainly original compositions in solo, trio, and quintet settings and wrote about 200 jazz tunes, some big band arrangements, and theatre music. Two of his CDs received longlist nominations for a German Record Critic's Award ("Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik"): "Blue Bop" (Trio, 2022) and "Keepin' the Spirit" (2015), feat. guest stars Dusko Goykovich (tp/flh), Tony Lakatos (sax), "Lady Bass" Lindy Huppertsberg (b), Jens Biehl (dr).
His Christmas song "It might be Christmas Every Day" won a "Global Music Award" (Silver Medal) in March 2024.

Marcello Carelli

Marcello Carelli, 22 years old, is one of the most versatile musicians on the music scene today. Originally from Bedford Hills, New York, Carelli is a currently getting his master's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. He received his undergraduate degree in Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Marcello is a former Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar, having been chosen out of many applicants to play in a high profile jazz quintet for four years. Along with this group, Carelli has also played in the award-winning Frost Concert Jazz Band and the Brian Lynch Artist Ensemble

Leonid Morozov is a 5th generation musician from Kursk, Russia. He started out by playing harmonica on the streets of Moscow at the age of 9 to earn lunch money. Later Leonid picked up the guitar after hearing blues masters like Mississippi Fred McDowell, B.B. King and others. and fell in love with with jazz after hearing Lester Young. First portion of Leonid’s career was spent in Russia where he often played with his first mentor and biggest influence - his grandad pianist Leonid Vintskevich. David Bernot

David Bernot is a jazz saxophonist living in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Gilbert, Arizona David moved to the mile high city in 2012 to study jazz saxophone at the University of Denver and recently he received his Masters degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. He performs as a band leader and a freelance musician in a variety of musical styles from Jazz to Funk and EDM (Electronic Dance Music), and he teaches music as a private instructor as well as with the youth jazz organization Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts. David is also an award winning jazz composer, most notably selected two times to be a recipient of the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer award.

Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Nathan Borton is a Michigan based Jazz guitar player that draws heavily from the mid-western tradition of bebop and the blues. Nathan has played with and alongside names such as: Rodney Whitaker, Michael Dease, Paul Keller, Diego Rivera, and Tom Knific. He has also performed at various music festivals including: the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, the East Lansing Jazz Festival, the Michigan Jazz Festival, and the Wichita Jazz Festival. Currently, Nathan is releasing his debut album, “Each Step” through Origin Records. The record, produced by Randy Napoleon, is set for release January 2022, and has already gained praise from the likes of trombone giant Michael Dease and Benedetto CEO Howard Paul

Ofer Shapiro is a Tel-Aviv based Saxophone/multi-wind performer and Jazz composer/arranger.
His delicate, melodious playing style has been described as 'sweetly subversive, music that woos and insinuates' by the New-York based jazz critic Michael Steinman.
Ofer has played lead alto with many bands and large groups including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. the Eli Degibri big band, the Eyal Vilner big band and many others. He has played with many Tel-Aviv based small groups such as the Mamelo Gaitanopolous Sextet, the Danny Rosenfeld Octet and his own jazz quartet.

Jackson Cotugno is a saxophonist based in Seattle. Since his arrival on the Seattle music scene in 2021, Jackson has collaborated with local luminaries such as Thomas Marriott, Marina Albero, Jessica Lurie, Matt Jorgensen, Julian Preister, Wayne Horvitz, John Bishop, Jimmy James, Joe Doria, D'vonne Lewis, Marc Seales, and many others. In his early adult years, Jackson had the pleasure of studying with Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, David Sanchez, and Julian Lage as well las local legends Alexey Nikolaev, Brian Kent, and Tobi Stone. In 2022 Jackson was recognized by the local organization Earshot Jazz first with a mention, then a magazine cover with a story, and then as the recipient of Earshot's "Emerging Artist of the Year" award
